After months of research and comparison I finally decided to take the dive and bought the MG Hector. From the get go this SUV impresses with it is dominant road presence and the glossy appeal that makes heads turn. The extensive and tech loaded cabin with a massive 10.4 inch touchscreen infotainment system immediately caught my attention. But it is not just about looks the Hector is quite a performer too. However it is not all sunshine. The ride quality though generally comfortable feels a segment rigid on the rough roads commonly found across India.

The MG Astor my latest acquisition boasts of technology and luxury uncommon in it is segment. The drive is smooth with the car offering multiple engine options including the turbocharged petrol offering considerable passion for the urban jungle. However the fuel efficiency has been a segment of a letdown. Additionally during peak Indian summer the air conditioning although decent struggles against the intense heat. Yet the spacious cabin along with a excess of tech offerings makes the MG Astor a compelling choice for those valuing comfort and technology over fuel economy.

The MG Comet EV marked my entry into the field of electric vehicles and what an introduction it has been This compact EV promised an economical yet stylish way to navigate the urban jungle and it has mostly lived up to that promise. The driving experience is smooth and silent something I have come to enjoy on my daily commutes. However taller passengers have mentioned feeling a bit cramped during rides. The technology and features packed into this small vehicle are impressive though I have encountered relevant glitches with the infotainment system.

Having owned the MG Hector Plus for around six months now, I have had enough time to thoroughly gauge what it is like to live with day to day. One of the Hector Plus' most outstanding features is its space. The 6 seater configuration with captain seats in the middle row offers comfort that few cars can match makes it perfect for family outings. The panoramic sunroof adds to the airy feeling inside the cabin, something my kids love.The 2.0 liter diesel engine producing 170 horsepower, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, handles city and highway drives adeptly.

After months of observation I finally decided to make the switch to electric and bought the MG ZS EV. My journey with this car has been quite a revelation. However living in India the rare charging infrastructure does pose a challenge planning long trips requires a bit more effort. Additionally while the interiors are spacious and comfortable the plastic quality could have been better considering it is price point. Overall the MG ZS EV has changed my daily commute making it eco friendlier.
