Astor is more comfortable

Astor is more comfortable with much premium feel inside the cabin. It is also a bigger car and the feature provided at this price is a better option. Moreover, I really like the looks of astor, It's way ahead.

Nice experience with MG Astor

MG Astor is a good family car with a good attractive design and SUV appearance. this car has given me an amazing experience inlast 1 year. the engine is quite powerful and gives smooth performance in both urban and rural areas. it gives mileage of 15-16 kmpl which is good. I liked the roomy interior of this car and the 2nd row is very comfortable. I felt that there could be some features like ventilated seats , wireless charger too be added.

MG Astor Pros and Cons

Astor Positives Points: Simple yet attractive design, comfortable seating for four, sets a new benchmark in terms of cabin quality, punchy turbo petrol engine, ADAS adds a layer of safety and convenience.

Astor Negatives Points: Narrow cabin makes it strictly a four-seater, boot space seems lesser than the competition, some feel-good features like ventilated seats are missing.

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : A well-balanced, compact SUV with a good mix of design, quality, performance, and safety. A solid contender in the segment.

Decent car

3.7

I booked this car in first batch and got delivered in the month of december 2021.My review of the car (manual, Sharp variant) after i have driven for 11000 km.Pros: 1.Definitely an eye catcher.Great design and interiors are superb.2.Comfortable driving experience with 6 way adjustable electric driver seat.No/minimal vibrations even at the speeds above 140.3.Sturdy build up and strong vehicle.4.Voice assistant.5.Awesome sun roof and moon roof.6.Great service from mg.7.Great highway mileage (14 - 16 kmpl).Good city mileage with medium traffic (10-12 kmpl).8.Overloaded with features and are best in class.9.Great suspension and spacious car.Cons:1.Less pick up when compared to rivals like creta and seltos.2.Bad city mileage with heavy traffic (7-9 kmpl).3.Music/sound system is not up to the mark.Speakers are of bad quality and are not premium.4.Non-responsive voice assistant (few times).Sometimes it activates itself without any commands.5.No cup holders in the front.Overall, It is a great car to have.Only thing to worry is the city mileage with heavy traffic and bad pick up.

Hlo I have Astor 1.5 CVT

3.7

Hlo i have astor 1.5 cvt black storm so simply let me come to point if we exclude mileage i can bet no other car can compete with it.As it is n/a engine with cvt so yes rubberband effect their and lack of power but that is ok if we consider it from n/a engine pov.The worst part is it can bring you onroad because of its mileage.I would not suggest you to buy because the worst mileage car i have ever seen in city i get 4 to 5 kml and for me driving 100 km daily with this is not possible. So yes lack of power pathetic mileage is the drawback. If we talk about highway dude their also just 12 kml which should of city.If you really have a lot of money then go because it will drink fuel like you have a petrol pump.Ofc i would sell this because it's impossible to drive with 5 kml daily for 100 km in a city like delhi. So i would not suggest because of mileage only otherwise you can pick but yes mileage is just like a truck.

Tech-Forward Compact SUV with Style

Thе MG Astor rеdеfinеs thе compact SUV sеgmеnt with its pеtrol еnginе offеring a smooth and еfficiеnt drivе, albеit with somе dеsirе for morе powеr in cеrtain situations. Its modеrn, tеch-savvy intеrior imprеssеs with a usеr-friеndly infotainmеnt systеm and spacious cabin, although matеrial quality could bе еnhancеd for a morе prеmium fееl. Thе standout fеaturе is thе AI-powеrеd pеrsonal assistant, еnhancing thе driving еxpеriеncе with intuitivе fеaturеs. Thе Astor's safеty suitе is comprеhеnsivе, but occasional softwarе updatеs might bе nееdеd. Dеspitе somе minor arеas for improvеmеnt, thе Astor's tеch-forward approach and stylе makе it a compеlling choicе for tеch еnthusiasts looking for a compact yеt fеaturе-rich SUV.

MG Hector Plus Elevating MG's SUV Legacy

I purchased this car in March 2021. Before finalizing my decision, I was a bit apprehensive about the brand, its perfomance, its sales and after sales service. However, after reading multiple reviews and comparing features with cars in the similar category, I took the plunge. And I'm happy with my decision. The car performs very well on city as well as on highways. Due the second wave of the pandemic, I was unable to test the car on longer drives. But recently, I travelled from Mumbai to Pune. The engine performance is very good. I managed to get an average of 17.5 kmpl on both to and fro journey to Pune. On one leg of 84 kms, I got an average of 18.9 kmpl. The creature comforts are good. Overall, the performance so far is quite right.

Emergency braking

1.3

Very unreliable car where major failures cause risky car drives. In the first year of the car, My car was in the service station for >50 days.Sensors like accelerator pedal sensors and tyre pressure sensors fail once in 2-3 months for a brand new car.Emergency braking is triggered in incorrect scenarios when it rains or if there is drainhole covers or such things. This is so risky sometimes that it causes accident like situations too.Extemely poor service at the service stations.Stay away from this car!!.

MG Astor: Stylish, Smart but Could Improve

Six months into driving the MG Astor and it is been quite the ride. Under the hood the Astor offers a choice between a 1.5 liter and a 1.3 liter turbo engine. I chose the turbo and it does not disappoint with its 140 PS power.Another downside is the space. While the front row is comfy the back gets a bit cramped and storage spaces are somewhat limited. Overall if MG could tweak its efficiency and spacing issues the Astor could potentially outshine its rivals

SINCE MG IS A RELATIVELY

Since mg is a relatively new brand you have considerably fewer service centres but each of these service centres is top of the line, Now let's talk about the car the car has a sleek look with a front grill that is extraordinarily attractive as it said on the car itself it is ai-powered it has an artificial intelligent assistant that helps in minute activities as well as media control and other features about the car it has attractive interiors and a bold exterior there are multiple color choices.Still, I prefer the black and maybe the red it has a beautiful handling transmission as well as suspension overall i would like to say this car is a beast in looks as wella s performance and this is worth every rupee you pay.

MG Astor: Intelligent Drive Wrapped in Elegance

The MG Astor my latest acquisition boasts of technology and luxury uncommon in it is segment. The drive is smooth with the car offering multiple engine options including the turbocharged petrol offering considerable passion for the urban jungle. However the fuel efficiency has been a segment of a letdown. Additionally during peak Indian summer the air conditioning although decent struggles against the intense heat. Yet the spacious cabin along with a excess of tech offerings makes the MG Astor a compelling choice for those valuing comfort and technology over fuel economy.
