Pros and Cons

  • Positives
  • Negatives

KTM Duke 390

  • Improved performance means this is the quickest bike in its segment
  • brakes feel sharp and predictable
  • adjustable suspension handles bad road well even in its stock setting
  • lower seat height should make it more accessible to shorter riders
  • feels super light on its feet and agile when changing directions
  • you can barely feel any engine heat
  • even in bumper to bumper traffic and motor has become a lot smoother than before.

Suzuki Avenis

  • Peppy performance; Frugal and smooth motor; Brilliant ride quality

KTM Duke 390

  • Some of the panel gaps are a little too pronounced
  • H-rated Metzeler tyres feel a little squiggly when pushing the bike hard and the signature KTM orange colour option looks too garish in this model.

Suzuki Avenis

  • Derivative looks; Stopping power could be better; Asking price is a bit too high

Q. What is the difference between started edition or sports addition?
  • Inspired by Suzuki’s MotoGP machine, the Avenis also dons a striking shade of Metallic Triton Blue, better known as the Race Edition. Just as the name suggests, you get the scooter draped in a gloss blue shade with the Suzuki livery on the sides. The Metallic Triton Blue costs just Rs 300 more than all the four options mentioned above. In our opinion, the Race Edition not only looks the sportiest of the lot but is also a steal deal when compared to the remaining paint options from the Avenis’ palette. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
  • In standrand edition you wont get bluetooth enabled which helps you to get lot of important features through suzuki connect app
  • Started is has modification for speed but sports edition has fully loaded for races

Q. Which is the best scooter between Avenis and Burgman?
  • Selecting between the Suzuki Avenis and Suzuki Burgman Street would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the brand, service availability, features required, performance, etc. The Avenis is an all-new scooter designed to appeal to younger audiences. The sharp-looking apron gets several creases, and it houses an all-LED headlamp. The bulb indicators are housed in a sporty-looking handlebar cowl with an integrated flyscreen. The side panels also get cuts and slashes for an added dose of sportiness. On the other hand, not only is the Burgman better in terms of performance and fuel efficiency, but it also offers a more mature and relaxed ride experience thanks to its blend of seating position, refinement and ride quality. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your city accordingly for dealership details.
  • It's the matter of choice if you like sporty look go for Avenis if you touring style scooter go with burgman otherwise both of them shares the exact same specs.

Q. Which is best scooter, between NTORQ 125 or Avenis?
  • Selecting between the Suzuki Avenis and TVS NTORQ 125 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the brand, service availability, features required, performance, etc. If you're looking for a fast, fun to ride and feature-rich scooter, the TVS Ntorq 125 is the right choice for you. The fuel-injected 124.8cc single-cylinder engine produces 9.38PS and 10.5Nm. It still remains the benchmark for performance in its class and the sporty styling adds to its appeal. Our only grouse is the premium pricing post the BS6 update. On the other hand, the Avenis is an all-new scooter designed to appeal to younger audiences. The sharp-looking apron gets several creases, and it houses an all-LED headlamp. The bulb indicators are housed in a sporty-looking handlebar cowl with an integrated flyscreen. The side panels also get cuts and slashes for an added dose of sportiness. The tail section is reminiscent of the TVS NTorq 125 and comes with split triangular LED tail lamps. Interestingly, the stubby exhaust looks similar to the one in Burgman Street. The scooter is equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster, the same as the one in Burgman Street. It comes with smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert, battery level, over-speed alert, among others. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership..Read more:- Suzuki Avenis vs TVS NTorq 125: Specs Compared
  • Straight forward if you wanna save money then go for avenis as it gives you enough power being a scooty. Ntorq is shorter and sound does make noise after months.

    Overall The bike riding experience

Overall the bike riding experience in every mode is best ever in this segment i have driven dominar 400 and pulsar rs 300 but this bike duke390 is powerful naked beast and comfortable for the long rides as well better than rc390 i have also driven that but rc doesn't suits me although it is very good in segment.Duke has a little more vibration than rc 390 best thing about it is the pickup of bike in the starting gears and good accessories such as tft display and sporty lamps and indicators& look but these type have very less value after use duke 390 goes crazy on the ride mode. The power to the weight ratio is good but suits on the fit guy.

    After riding the Suzuki Avenis

After riding the suzuki avenis 125 bs6 model, I found something interesting, Firstly, The engine is damn smooth like all suzuki scooters. It's reliable, No doubt at that. The seats are comfortable enough but as the suspension is a bit stiff, I would recommend having a pillion and ride cause that's really gonna elevate your ride quality.Talking about brakes.Front brake is responsive.Though when applied the back one the first also does response like those combi-braking system in hondas. The scooter comes packed with features when it comes about the instrumental cluster.Mileage in city is about 45-48kmpl.At highway you can expect about 55 or something less.Personally i don't like the boot as no light is being provided.A charging socket in the glove box is impressive as you can charge your device on a go.At front you get a all day time running headlights.I like the shape of the led tail lights.People compare this scooter with tvs ntorq, I admit in terms of power maybe it's a bit less but the experience with avenis doesn't get bad at all.Talking about the build quality it could have been improved but not bad.The tyres could have been better. If someone is looking for a good looking scooter for daily usage purpose, This scooter is recommended packed with good mileage and also features.Lastly, It's a good fun to ride scooter within a good bucks.Thank you😄.
