Q. What is the difference between drum alloy and disc alloy - Passion Pro 110?
  • Drums are made from cast iron and are named for their “drum-like” shape. Drum brakes work by forcing 2 arched “shoes” housed within the drum, to expand outward into the inner wall of the spinning drum, using hydraulic and centrifugal force. This generates friction, slowing the drum and your bike.A disc brake system is comprised of a large metal rotor, 2 flat brake pads and a hydraulic clamp called a “caliper”. Pressing the brake with disc brakes, forces brake fluid to fill the caliper. A metal piston inside the caliper is then forced against the back of each brake pad. This presses the pad’s friction material against the spinning rotor, quickly slowing the brake rotor. My suggestion is if you had a bike with drum break previously then you should go with drum break only, do not try the disc break as it stops the bike at sudden. and if you could not control the bike you and bike may fall and you could get injured.
  • Braking difference but I had drum alloy version and never had any problems with the brakes it works wherever you want it to
  • Disc alloy is batter

    Not preferred from my side

it is not the most comfortable for longer rides due to its stiffer suspension setup. Mileage efficiency is another area where the Storm could improve, as it barely gives 40 kmpl not the best in its class.

    Urban Adventure on a Budget

Aprilia Storm is a direct and uncomplicated scooter for commuting within the city. It has very good road stability and 125 cc engine gives enough power for exploration. The suspension and firm tires enable traversing bumpy roads to be really uncomplicated. Its affordable that enables it to be within reach of a majority of the population. Nonetheless, the pelvis will seem uncomfortable on long rides, and there isn’t enough room for storage. In summary, the Storm model from Aprilia is a worth consideration for daily riders who are seeking affordable price and engaging design.

    famous for the style

It is a fun to ride scooter with the sporty riding posture and the brakes is very good and this scooter is famous for the style and for the performance but the quality of plastic is not good. The handling of this scooter is very good but the comfort level is poor in this scooter and is not a practical scooter. If anyone wants a attractive scooter that has a strong road presence then this scooter is for you but the brakes need lots of improvement in Aprilia Storm.

The stylish option I've for an city adventure is Aprilia Storm. For its tough looks and strong best experience, I love my scooter. Because of its strong construction and quick machine, riding it through city Streets and over inured my travelling is actually thrilling. A head- turning presence on the road is guaranteed by the ambitious performance and off- road features. Its useful features, such the roomy under- seat storehouse and sturdy suspense, give the ride more release and confidence. My love for my scooter only deepens because of its higher looks and sense of adventure. Aprilia Storm is an city discoverer that adds exhilaration to every excursion, not exclusively a ride.

    around the city in style

This scooter packs a punch with a peppy engine. It's great for zipping around town and offers good power. Mileage is decent at around 40 kmpl. The suspension is decent, handling bumps and rough roads reasonably well. Pick up isn't the fastest, but once you get going, the Storm can reach good speeds (over 100 kmph). The seat is good for short rides, but might get uncomfortable on longer journeys. A big drawback is the lack of disc brakes. It comes with drum brakes only

A Trusty Commuter with Modern Touches

As a daily commuter, my decision to buy the Hero Passion Xtec was driven by its reputation for reliability and fuel efficiency. After several months of use, I am happy to report that it lives up to its promises. The digital analog cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn by turn navigation support genuinely makes my everyday ride smoother and a bit more fun. The 110cc engine, producing 9 bhp and 9 Nm of torque, is adequate for city traffic though it would not blow your socks off with speed.
