3.7Driving experience
Comfort and space is awesome, Driving experience is good but not for hard acceleration.Feels under power in fully loaded.Top speed is gd overall car for family is perfect not for enthusiasts.
-
4.7Driving experience
Driving experience: i have been driving for past 4 years.Everyday on an average >50 km.The driving is pleasant. The vehicle performs optimally in bad road and bumper to bumper traffic. The steering is a bit heavier as compared to tata cars/ hyundai’s.However, In high speed (>80km) the steering response beautifully.Comfort: the cabin is spacious and ambiance is eye pleasing. The second row seats are having good leg room.Downsides: driver seat adjustment is bad.The head space is narrow. The second row passengers do not have adjustable head rest. The glove box is not cooled. The inside cabin noise is moderate.Worse than hyundai and tata.Better than kia seltos.I do not feel any vibration inside cabin. My car runs in petrol.Handling: the car behaves like gentleman in heavy traffic. The pickup is moderate. Not too bad.Maneuvering through road is hassle free.Night driving: the headlights lacks intensity. The fog lights are un-remarkable.I wonder why a reputable company like maruti-suzuki can’t provide better lightings. The most scary is night driving in rain.Almost nothing visible on a tar road.Service: i did service once a year and the average cost is ~12000-14000.The service center personnel are helpful. The battery lasted exactly 3 years.Mileage: in highway >18 km/lin city: ~ 15 km/lmixed conditions: 17 km/l.

- If outright performance is not your priority and looking for a comfortable, spacious, fuel-efficient car, you may go for Maruti Ciaz. If you want a car with sporty looks, better feature list, a premium cabin experience and lioke to spend time at front seats, you may go for Hyundai Verna. If want a car with a great balance of space, comfort, features and ride quality, you may go for Honda City. However, its cabin insulation could have been better. If we talk about Yaris, the cabin insulation, the premium interior trim/upholstery quality, and the sublime ride comfort make this a great car for a wide range of buyers. In fact, the Yaris has done a good job of cutting out a niche for itself. It sets itself apart by setting new expectations for safety features in the segment and even offers many segment firsts. However, it isn’t the most driver-centric car and there have been a few misses, in terms of features and in the sense of space. You may compare both cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

- Better Call your nearest maruti dealership
- It is better to use only the tyres which are fitted by the Manufacturer. You can fit wider tyres provided the OD of the tyre is similar to the tyres that are fitted originally by the Manufacturer. For this you will have to contact some Sales Staff of a Tyre Manufacturer who has knowledge about this or a Tyre Dealer who knows how to calculate the Overall Dimensions of a Tyre. But please note the following......(i) mileage may decrease (ii) check if your car is under warranty and whether the warranty will be affected by using tyres other than those prescribed . No manufacturer or Authorised Dealer will recommend Tyres other than what is prescribed for the Model and any changes made in the size of the Tyre will be at your own risk.

- No - MID is only in 1.5 ltr deisel engine variant .
- Yes
- Ni
- I would not say that all Suzuki cars have the same build quality. I mean, there is no comparison between Ciaz and Alto in terms of build quality. I do not agree with the fact that all Suzuki cars should be compared in the same breath for build quality. The same of Ciaz and Scross is way superior than the other Suzuki cars. Ok, you cannot compare that with the City but then that comparison is not even required since Suzuki beats the competition hands down in terms of its cost. I would say that the quality of Ciaz is more than adequate for day to day commute and no problems at all. At the end please understand the fact that be it any car we must drive it safely and if you do a head on bang at 80+ even on other cars, it is going to be lethal.
- Ciaz doors quality even not like cheverolet beat doors quality
- Very good build quality.solid feel, nice performance, value for money
- 4speakers
- 2 tweeters 4 speakers
- I also has the same question .... any one can help based on their experience
- 14 kmpl petrol
- I own and I am driving Ciaz VDI+ SHVS since 2016, the ride quality is awesome with very silent diesel engine. Have driven Ciaz to many places and the utmost thing I liked about this car is comfortable ride. No matter, whether I have driven for 200 Kms or 600 Kms in a day there is hardly any fatigue. It is a good car for regular city ride as well on highways it is the uber smooth. In order to arrive at the variant decision it depends upon many factors like distance in terms of Kms be driven on a daily basis. Like I used to commute for around 70 Kms on a daily basis so I found Diesel to be more efficient as till date I am getting mileage as 23.5 KMPL. So please decide accordingly. Also, I have placed and add to sell my vehicle as I intend to buy a diesel SUV. Please let me know if you are interested.
- Ride quality is good in both however when compared Petrol is more smooth and light. Diesel feels more stuck to ground. Good for city use. I prefer the heavy feel in diesel version.
- Good. Buying the manual or automatic will depend on the driving conditions and personal preferences. Test drive both variants and take a decision.
- Go for top one
- Petrol
- Yes
- Both are in 2 different segments. Please decide what is your requirement. If you are looking for a Sedan go for the Ciaz. Both are good cars but the Ciaz may be cheaper to maintain.
- Elite i20 has definitely more features and is the best hatchback today but ciaz has its own swag and maintenance wise both will cost you similar.
- CIAZ is a sedan and I20 is a hatchback both have different segment pros and consCIAZ is more family friendly, spacious, economical and luxurious car
- Rapid is better but very high maintenance as the spares are very expensive anf features are also lesser in rapid.
- Skoda rapid
- Ciaz
- It would be better to consult a professional and also an engineer from Maruti Suzuki before taking a decision.
- As per the dealer recommendation they confirmed me that CNG is not possible in Ciaz BS6.
- Not advisable, anyway ciaz is a little underpowered to fit cng.
- Depends on variant you buy--- only zeta & alpha variant will have button start
- Depends on the model that you buy. Both options are available.
- Depending on which model you buy. It has both options
- Go for ciaz petrol as now the difference in petrol and diesel prices are not much. Plus petrol engine is more smooth and powerful
- 13- 14 kmpl in city 15-17 kmpl in highway
- Ciaz diesel not available after 1st April, 2020
- Yes, I think the top 2 models have. I own a zxi variant and it has a rear camera and sensor.
- Yes. In zxi plus and zdi plus variants which are currently the Alpha variant
- Depends on which model you buy.
- Diesel is best for you as you travel a lot. Cng will make your car worst.
- A diesel would be ideal in this case
- Diesel, its gives uhh 21 kmpl in city n on highway 23 kmpl on speed of 100-120 kmph
- Hybrid is actually a very efficient technology, saves a lot of fuel specially in city traffic jams. Overall the car is very comfortable and I find it value for money. Good features and good drive quality. In fact surprisingly the its maintenance is lesser than my other i20 petrol. I own a ciaz alpha diesel and trust me its d best value for money car right now.
- As i own a manual one, i haven't faced any issues yet regarding the car. It is still smooth as if new. Taking in Consideration the automatic one, it's said to be a bit under powered n stands a bit low at the mileages. However the automatic versions stand different and has its own pros n cons. Also if you are planning to buy a ciaz, you are at the right point.
- Overall good - not beast as compared to Honda City
- Ciaz is a luxurious car and you will get an awful comfort. Moreover it is the most expensive vehicle in Maruti. As i am owning Maruti Ciaz, i was surprise to see that the ground clearance is better than and other of its competitors. Also you will not experiance any zerks in speed breakers. Then when you talk about maintenance, service and mileage, nothing best than Maruti. Its a car in which you can get everything in your budget and a luxury experience compared to any of its competitors.
- Maruti Ciaz is s good car for the prices at which it sells. It should definetly be on your try list before deciding. You csn also take a look at the Verna and City. I chose the Ciaz but do look around as personal choices can vary.
- Personal experience.traveled with 5 members. very poor ground clearance.it almost touched in every speed breakers. if tat is your concern, ciaz not a good choice.
- It's already out there....You can get the 1.5 Diesel Engine in both Delta as well as Alpha models
- BS 6 diesel engine will be launched by Suzuki once its petrol engine sale goes to 3 year low.
- Sorry to inform you I am no agent or marketer of Maruti Suzuki
- Go through catalogue
- SIGMA
- It will depend on what your needs are. Both are good cars. When purchasing a car never forget that a Car is a depreciating Asset and you should buy only what is required. Suggest you test drive both cars and decide based on your requirements and budget.
- Dzire
- Dzire
- Smart hybrid technology and more leg room are the keys. Plus low maintenance cost is a bonus
- Only Auto dimmer rwm and size
- HYBRID ENGINE AND ALSO MILEAGE
- No- i don't think so... Verna is good
- Can buy, no problem, tested vehicle
- Verna 1.6
- 4 speed torque converter
- HYBRID TECHNOLOGY
- Every paid service is approximately 8000.
- 40000
- 3000
- Ciaz BS6 just launched, you may book now. You will also have the option to Choose Ciaz-S, the sporty version with black interiors.
- No you can't book nowBut it will come in 2020
- Book it now
- Ciaz is a better option, it offers better value for money, peace of mind in ownership that’s coupled with decent performance and lots of space. It also offers better resale value. If your priority is peppy performance and fun to drive element or handling or build quality then polo may be considered. My choice is ciaz
- Polo is more fun to drive but ciaz offers more comfort and space, plus its a btr looming one
- Of course Ciaz, as it gives a great driving experience coupled with space, mileage , good resale value and a complete value for money.
- Can opt old model with SHVS diesel
- New one makes sense
- New
- Answer is no and yes depending upon your needs. Ciaz is a practical as well as comfortable car which is suitable for relaxed drives, which if coupled with Maruti’s after sales and maintenance cost in comparison to Honda City it feels better. On the other hand, city is a better performer as it offers higher power displacement, responsive steering and brakes. If you like performance and power then city is better. If you like lesser expensive, comfortable and decent performer ciaz is better
- Honda city is more premium in petrol. No comparison in diesel as diesel engines are not so good in honda.
- Honda city’s ivtec engine is a bit more fun to drive
- Very comfortable specially rear seats
- Yes
- Yes
- No, now diesel discontinued
- No
- Only 2 airbags- verna is having 6 airbags
- Top model has 2
- Only 2 airbag
- Depends on your requirements as to features. Zeta is a better option which is loaded adequately with features and is a value for money car variant
- Only petrol variant available now Sir
- Delta is best
- No telescopic
- Only tilt steering
- Only tilt adjust steering wheel
- Not really. As the car is very powerful now but at high speeds on highway you might not feel very confident. I have both petrol and diesel. Diesel has no such issues till 150 kmph.
- Ciaz platform is very well constucted, you will feel confident on high speeds as well
- The car is unaffected while facing the Regular crosswinds and moderate strong winds at usual highway cruising speeds.
- No
- No idea
- No
- Yess
- Yess
- Yes
- The engine performance of both the cars is almost identical , both the cars has equal status appeal. The interior of Ciaz is more updated & jazzy as the interior of City is black & very basic compared to the price its demanding. If you compare the Top Models of both the cars, City is expensive by almost 2 Lakhs but its features are far less than what Ciaz Alpha offers you at less price. The most important, Honda City is launching its revised version by April 2020, hence its not worth to buy an Old version of City now.
- I have ciaz and had Honda city ... in all aspects CIAZ is better choice
- Both the cars are good in performance. Ciaz diesel offers SHVS technoloy which is very good but the Honda City is more safer than Ciaz.
- You get a difference about 3000-4000 even more than that (depends on every dealer). But,if u plan to buy an aftermarket.he must be trusted one for sure or else he might be Ur friend. In such conditions u have way to go.But if u're a noob in it . I recommend u to go with dealer as safety as concerned
- Nope they don't provide rear parking camera on this variant.yes they do provide it as an accessory in nexa.Better u can go for aftermarket ones which is bit cheaper than it.But,if u don't care about the money u can go for extra accessory as rear parking camera and sensor as well
- Aftermarket cameras don't integrate well with the design of the car... sensors and orvm will help sufficiently ro reverse the car..
- Undoubtedly it's ciaz which is value for money.even u get a decent resale value for Ur car in future.and even the fuel efficiency, engine displacement, safety and what not.tigor can't stand in front of ciaz.
- Ciaz has better comfort, and a larger leg space area along with a huge boot, hence it is an ideal family car and for short trips.
- Ciaz
- You can compare the Amaze and Dzire. I test drove both snd preferred the Dzire. Ciaz is better than Dzire and Amaze.
- Amaze for sure. But investing on ciaz is smarter in my opinion as u get "n" number of benefits in it such as styling, space, comfort, efficiency and even more
- Ciaz is better in many ways
- I'd talk about 1.3 DDiS as I own it. It's definitely not underpowered. It lacks the zeal of an enthusiast but not underpowered at all. 1.3 DDiS engine is one the most reliable and frugal motor in the country and the 1.5 petrol has proven its reliability too. I am a daily user as well. In mere 5 months I have driven it 16k KMS and enjoyed every mile with it, Yes, it's a great mile muncher and very comfortable one. So good for long distances as well.
- It surely is worth buying. I am also a daily user and it has surely proven to be reliable and has provided me with the best experience. I've driven it to long distances as well, it is a very comfortable drive.
- The ciaz’s performance is very linear, but it’s very reliable car.My Ciaz will complete five years coming November, done 70000 KM still running as new no issues.
- Just go for ciaz delta or zetta manual transmission and have a fun drive but don't buy hyundai venue when you look hyundai its great but in driving after sometime it will dissapoint on the otherhand maruti ciaz not more ground clearance more mileage more prestige but if you say luxury is more in hyundai i agree with you but only luxury nothing else maruti ciaz is something different from others just go and take test drive sit in car for 5 minutes and then drive and feel
- Verna SX without a doubt. First there is the sunroof which gives the car a premium feel. Then there are lots of cool features like digital instrument cluster, smart trunk, wireless charger, etc. Verna engine is very refined. It has the most silent cabin ( best in the segment). Smooth gearbox ( even better than Honda City). Pleasant and soft to drive. Plus Hyundai has better build quality.
- Ciaz shall be the better option, m driving it for around last one year, it is very spacious, most fuel efficient in its class, maximum ground clearance in its class, vast service network in India with spares available easily as compared to others. For City spares are not easily available, verna's spares are also costlier than ciaz. All in all Ciaz is a very good package. My Ciaz gives me 21.5 km/ltrs average in city traffic, thanks to its Diesel Hybrid engine.
- Amaze and xcent belongs to different segment.Amaze is a nice car but you can’t compare this with ciaz or city.City and ciaz are from same segment.
- Better than both if price is not a concern
- Amaze and xcent are compact sedans whereas ciaz is a mid size sedan.. If u want to go for ciaz u can go..
- Dear Naveen All three cars you are looking for have different character since I own a prefacelift Ciaz vxi+ I will speak more about it.Ciaz is a value for money proposition specially after introduction of 1.5 ltr engine in petrol. It has acres of space, decent mileage.I drive on highways only rest of the time I enjoy backseat comfort. However if you are looking for a sporty look and punchy engine then my vote goes to city,of course price difference is huge.on the other hand Ecosport having a pseudo SUV stance can’t be compared with these sedans. If you are for good looking and bit budget friendly sedan go for ciaz blindly.
- Ciaz is best value for money. Very long and comfy with less maintenance costCity is more premium but little overpriced. Ecosport is very powerful and very less maintenance but space inside is way too less. Its only comfy for 4 people. Now as per your priority you can go for any. All 3 are overall very good cars.
- Depending on your price stiffness for city use go for honda city, but if you have to sit at back and long distance has to cover go for ciaz as it is spacious,if you belong to a under rated city which have bad road go for ecpsport as its ground clearence is great But ecosport can't speed as fast as ciaz and city goes Choice is up to you
- I own diesel and it's very good in terms of performance and mileage. Honestly it is a good time to buy a diesel car because from next year the prices of diesel car will be dearer by 2-2.5 lacs. Also depends on your daily run. If it is around 50 kms then go for diesel otherwise get a petrol one.
- It will depend on what your requirements are. Suggest that you see and test drive both versions and take a decision on what is best suited for you.
- I have driven both, petrol version is crisp abd sharp, diesel engine feels heavy on the road. I prefer diesel.
- These are personal preferences and you should take a decision on what suits you best.
- For city drive automatic... For highways can opt for manual
- It depends on your usage, if you drive mostly in cities with huge traffic and need comfort the go for automatic otherwise manual
- No good idea
- Yes it is suitable if you opt for good quality cng kit
- Not sure
- Maruti is going to or has stopped ciaz diesel. Just check once. Better to go for vento
- If you want low maintenance car with best mileage and space then go for ciaz, and if you want a car with best quality body then go for vento.
- Ciaz diesel now not available..
- This works if you unlock the vehicle with remote but does not open the door
- No,none of the ciaz's model is provided with this feature
- No, you have to lock it manually every time.
- Both of them have now same engine and approximately same features but ciaz is larger than baleno and have more space
- Only CIAZ is best.
- Both are of different segment, hard to compare.
- No problem at all. Car is powerful enough. And the ground clearance may look lesser but you will not find any trouble in taking it to hills even with 5 passengers
- Nice,but require lower gears
- Decent and practical, lot depends on road conditions and the driver
- Go for manual, performs well
- Automatic transmission is ideal for those who travel in cities but for highways manual is best
- Go for mannual gear
- Ciaz can get you a good resale. But think before making a decision as we usually don't buy cars for reselling so please do buy something that fits your family and give you pleasure of driving + being driven.
- Ciaz anyday is the most value for money sedan in the country today. It offers you a lot more for a lot less.It actually is the longest sedan and looks better than most of its rivals. And it now is almost 2-3 lacs cheaper then all of its rivals(city, Yaris, Verna)
- What CC segment are you looking for.

Like the pre-facelift model, the refreshed Ciaz clears upcoming crash test norms for pedestrian protection, full frontal impact and side impact.
- Major difference is hybrid feature otherwise its mainly looks and features.
- Search on maruti Suzuki site online
- What hospet
- No
- Ecosport have a sturdy body and powerful engine however ciaz is the best buy luxury sedan for this segment. Space and feel inside is way too luxurious. If you care for powerful engine then go for ecosport and if you want more luxury then go for ciaz
- Ciaz would be a good choice over ecosport sigmature varient.
- Ciaz is a better option over ecosport signature
- Multi-function Steering WheelPower Adjustable Exterior Rear View MirrorAnti Lock Braking SystemPower Windows RearPower Windows FrontWheel CoversPassenger AirbagDriver AirbagPower SteeringAir Conditioner
- Abs breaking engine immobiliger defoger staring mounted audio control child safety day night mirror wooden finish and much more
- City has a I vtec CVT..ciaz has an inferior automatic..now city has improved in mileage too...safety city is above ciaz.
- Go for top model as the car already offers value for money
- Yes it is best to buy ciaz alpha over honda city
- Zeta is more better than delta as it have more features but if you have low budget you can also go for delta as it comes with all the basic features needed
- Zeta could be the better one
- Zeta
- Couldn’t measure it but i’m 6.1ft and while driving i use to adjust driving seat little less to the maximum limit and still a 6ft guy can be accommodated behind me without touching his knees to driver seat.
- Check out on ZigWheels comparison section
- Ciaz
- City is bit more costly with its excellent CVT.. you can buy vento CVT dsg too good..ciaz is not in their league.
- Ciaz and city both are good
- Check out new Ciaz
- If you have budget of 10Lakh then Delta you can choose or if you can stretch it to 11.5L then Alpha is better option. if you are not concerned of budget then top end variant S you can choose. recently i have bought Alpha manual petrol BS6 which has all the features and best VFM according to me.
- It completely depends on your criteria... Like I am also a ciaz owner what I wanted was an automatic transmission therefore I went with the top of the line variant
- It depends on your requirements, every variant has a step up, I have the Alpha model and it is pretty good, with the alloy wheels and the touchscreen infotainment system.
- With ciaz it'll be very pocket friendly if you can compromise on the features. But if you need power and features either go for the honda city or verna .My personal opinion would be verna.
- Verna seems the best option as per your needs
- Clear winner is CIAZ in all ways
- Oh yeah, its very comfortable and in fact I have taken it to lot of hilly areas too in Himachal and uttarakhand opposite of my expectations even the ground clearance was very nice and the car will cruise through potholes comfortably.
- Yes
- Yes very well as it has 16” inch alloys with 170mm ground clearance
- Ciaz
- Ciaz
- Ciaz
- If two 6 ft persons are sitting front and back even then they will be comfortable. However head room for rear is low
- 6 feet persn
- Ample space
- Ideally, Sun roof is not a highly needed feature in INDIA. It has remained more of an emotional connect with families, otherwise, it has more disadvantages then the advantages by having it in a car. Even if, you still want to go for Sun roof, Honda City is a better choice. You may also prefer to install it, if you highly needed it..!
- If ground clearance is not an issue go for Honda City
- Bro, XUV300 IS THE BEST WITH SUNROOF
- Ideally going for ZETA or ALPHA variant is a good choice. If you are looking at Budget options, then, you may go for Delta variant with required additional features getting loaded on it as a part of selection of accessories
- Both the bikes are good because my father uses unicorn 150 2018 model if you want to buy unicorn then buy unicorn 150 not 160
- Alpha
- Verna is way more fun to drive but is results very costly in terms of mileage Verna gives out 10-12 in city whereas CIAZ gives out 15-16 in city
- In my opinion the Ciaz will be better for someone who is looking for comfort and reasonable maintenance costs.
- If you want an honest answer, Verna is a better choice. However, it has only 1 concern and that is mileage, which you will get more on CIAZ
- This is available online on so many sites. Please check it there.
- Honestly, I couldn't remember. However, you can download the brochure from the site or may visit - any CAR PORTAL for the same
- Length 4490 mm Width1730 mm Height1485 mm FYI, Ground Clearance 170 mm Wheel Base 2650 mm
- Off Course, Ciaz, as Ciaz is the Best Value for Money product. It has lower maintenance costs, has huge space and safety features also.
- Ciaz diesel, Etios petrol.
- Ciaz without any doubt
- More powerful engine.... Good road presence..... Comfortable seating space for three in back seat.... Good cooling.... 500+ litre boot space for weekend long holidays.... Smooth navigation.... Can ride on all terrains.... I have driven it on all terrains without any problem with full AC... good mileage.... Mine is an old engine, but still manage to get 16 kmpl of average in city with full AC on.... For long drives in highways it goes upto 19 kmpl..... Overall a good package.
- Most special thing about this car is road presence and its "feel big car" essence. No other car in this segment will make you feel that you are driving a big car. Also, I'll add the points mentioned by other members.
- It has the ample amount of space for a sedan of its class. Has very good road presence and has the service back up of Maruti. For other technical assistance you can always look up the reviews on ZigWheels.
- Yaris is best in terms of claimed mileage after sales services, Hyundai petrol engines has been fuel guzzling engines, so please ask reviews before buying them
- Fiat Linea is the hard car... it is rigidly built car... safety is prime... but in india people think only mileage...
- Obviously Brand new Verna...
- If can't extend your budget then opt for sigma variant. If you can extend your budget then go for zeta or alpha variant with all bells and whistles.
- Go for VXI if you are planning for a petrol car
- VDI
- If price is not a point then yea
- Yeah very much better according to the prices
- Different segments
- For Diesel you can go for top i.e the ZDI+ variant
- Maruti's DDIS200, REVOTORQUE, ID-TEC
- I want a patrol variant
- In a Dzire petrol I, have traveled 935 Kms(140 Kms non highway) in a single stretch, it will be easy in a Ciaz on a 4/6 lane Highway
- Please see ASEAN NCAP crush test on youtube. Ciaz is a decently strong car. Do not connect weight much with strength
- What rubbish..... Pehle Purchase karle fir kuch negative bol.
- Both are good in one way or the other way overall on the basis of price, mileage, features, comfort and safety you can say it's like 50/50
- If you are looking for a manual transmission then go for verna and if automatic is your choice then go for ameo
- Verna
- They belong to entirely different segments in sedan class. If you are looking for much better comfort and entertainment spending 2 to 3 lacs, ciaz auto petrol can be the wise choice.
- If you want car to be spacious then only you should opt for ciaz. Technically there's no difference between them if you opt the top end variant of DZire.
- If you just want a sedan then go for Dzire or else if you need some luxurious comfort then Ciaz is the right choice in it's segment
- Ciaz Sigma should fit your budget and in my opinion it is much better than all the compact sedans.
- You may opt for COMPACT SEDAN - 1. TATA TIGOR, 2.FORD ASPIRE, 3.SWIFT DESIRE , 4.Honda Amaze
- Go for the ciaz or for the honda city
- Delta is most value for money package.
- Ciaz delta is better with no more features .
- Delta
- Both have no comparison if you wnat a MUV like Nexon I would say to check out Ford Ecosport or Hyundai Venue; but if you need a sedan like Ciaz then try Honda City, Hyundai Verna and all.
- Both of the vehicles are good in their own segment and value for money, since one is a semi luxury sedan and other a compact urban SUV. Better you decide first which segment you wish to buy. The present trend is moving towards SUV only. I have a Ciaz and happy with it except that, at least to me , it is a bit lighter car
- Didn't like nexon after sitting inside. Feeling cramped no good views from back glass. In Ciaz you will feel spacious and good view from all 4 sides.
- Ciaz , because of better engine variation and also mileage differs a lot in both of them and ciaz is a pure class , smooth drive , comfort , fuel efficient and provide much greater safety features too . so I would suggest u to go with ciaz . it's not that dzire is bad but with respect to ciaz it's not the best , I can undoubtedly say ciaz to be one of the best cars of maruti Suzuki India .
- If you don't wanna show off in public and want performance with capability go for dzire or else Ciaz is currently Suzuki's benchmark sedan that means you get the best of Suzuki in Ciaz so think before making a decision According to me Dzire is way good option as it values money while buying and has got a fame which helps is good resale value.
- If the car has to carry regularly 4/5 passengers and luggage then ciaz is a better car offering oodles of space and comfort. If it’s for 2/4 passengers on regular basis and lesser luggage then consider Dzire. Ultimately make a decision subject to budget and preference for segment of cars. Word to remember: both cars are good products.
- Go for petrol honda city
- Hyundai Verna is better because its height is less than ciaz amaze and city
- Yes go for the verna
- 170mm
- 170mm.
- 170 mm
- Honda City is very good in handling.steering is stiff nd very responsive..but bit low average and costly maintenance. ciaz gives you better average and less service cost.
- Honda is good choice, but will cost more about 2 lakhs than ciaz
- Go for verna if you have the budget
- Ciaz suit your budget. Ciaz delta available 10 lacks.ciaz sigma available 9.5 lacks.ciaz more spacias, than verna and city.also more mileage and low maintenance than verna and city.
- Yes you can. I bought the lowest variant below Rs9.10 lakhs all inclusive- on road.
- Yes, if available in this price
- Ciaz is best driven gently and basically a car where you can not go wrong. It has load of space, features and has a comfortable ride and easy on you pocket. I get around 12-13 kmpl in my city and around 17-18 kmpl on high way with an average speed of 80-100 with four person on board. I have covered 15000 KM and so far no maintenance cost incurred. I have opted for four yrs. warranty also.
- Its the best value for money car you can find today in the market.
- Interior space is more in ciaz, rate is very attractive compared to other top models
- I have a manual transmission car so I can not give you any idea of automatic car. However Ciaz is not a car for enthusiastic driver. Yes the car is quite fuel efficient with supple ride.
- Outdated 4 speed gear box, average performance, they should use six speed automatic
- Manual transmission is better than automatic transmission because of mileage. Automatic transmission will give you less mileage.
- Ciaz is just a cardboard box...i got the sports variant and the spoiler, skirts keep falling off...the infotainment experience is also not that great. its not worth 13.9 lakhs...in the safety perspective i give it a 0. the rear bumper also keeps on falling off and I have raplaced it couple of times still i would not suggest this car to anyone. please avoid this car go for Hyundai volkswagen skoda or toyota instead of suzuki.
- I bought it for 11 lakhs. Top model diesel however even after price hike it still offers more value for money.
- Ciaz is the Best Car for Using, Very Comfortable & easy Maintenance, It's Luxary & Professional Using car , we have already used since last one year, My Friend is used since last 2 Year's.
- Depends what is your budget but I am personally of the opinion if budget is not a constrain you should always go for the top model which offers you maximum utility features.
- Alfa S is the better
- Alpha
- An excellent option in this segment. Good looks, fuel economy, new improved powerful petrol engine, driving as well as ride comfort everything is there. Please take benefit of year ending heavy discounts too........ hurry up
- Out side authorized service station will be around 3000/- and from authorised can go up to 8000
- Approx 8000 Rs for a company paid service.
- Both are reliable and frugal which offer decent performance and peace of mind in long term ownership. You should make a choice depending upon your budget and usage pattern. If you have high running go for diesel 1.5 or trusted 1.3. If you want silent, refined petrol car then choose either ciaz Petrol or city Petrol
- Whichever you get a good deal at. Both cars are nice. If you drive a lot then go for diesel otherwise petrol
- Ciaz petrol is what I have and I have no issues with the vehicle. Diesel is a good option when u are driving daily. but diesel maintenance is more than petrol car.
- Looks of older version were good, a little bit change in front grill is added. Technically Diesel version is without any change while petrol engine is powered by 1.5CC improved power and SHVH technique. Hence technically New Petrol is better than old one.
- New model is better than previous one. you will get enhanced looks and Maruti has introduced spoiler at the back which gives sporty look to ciaz. also ciaz has got an improved engine and better ride quality
- I think that the new Ciaz is better. More powerful engine for the Petrol and improved features.
- Go 4 any car other than Maruti as build quality is so low. Body is totally paper.
- Ciaz avarge is so low 12 kmpl
- Go for Maruti Swift or Baleno. these vehicles requires very less maintenance and they give good Average too
- There is deference in accessories features and prices
- In my opinion you should buy a diesel car if you drive at least 100 kilometres per day.
- Diesel mostly and petrol can also be used as per the conditions and it mostly depends on the driver
- Petrol car is better because maintenance cost of petrol car is less.
- Glistering Grey, It doesn't show off the dust and many scratches does look visible only when inspected deeply
- Brown, blue and grey
- The best selling colors are Nexa blue, black, red. In my opinion its Nexa blue
- I find it good and I have no complaints so far. My car is relatively new and maybe you should look at getting opinions from people who have done at least 40000 kilometres.
- No
- No
- If u commute more in city then automatic is more convenient. But what I feel is automatic transmission makes driving dull. Again it depends on person to person his likes and dislikes
- For city drive automatic, if to drive maximum on highway, can opt for manual version
- Manual.
- Ciaz is cheap in terms of maintenance. Also it is cheaper than city. And gives more mileage
- Ciaz maintenance is much cheaper and more comfortable than city
- Of course ciaz bcoz city has more maintenance
- I always prefer manual transmission over automatic transmission because I love to shift gears on my own.. also if you drive on hilly terrain you will get the thrill by changing gear on your own. Automatic transmission is also good but it is not that responsive. CVT is more advanced version of automatic transmission. It will be more responsive and smooth
- Better to go with Automatic transmission - more relax & no damage to engine , clutch parts - long life with only lesser mileage
- Ciaz only get 4 speed AT
- Google search you can do
- If you have Maruti Suzuki showroom at Balasore then ciaz will be there for sure
- Ciaz is not a hybrid but a mild hybrid technology. If you want a complete hybrid then go for toyota camry or prius. Even mahindra offers mild hybrid technology. Mild hybrid is more of start stop feature when the car is idle.
- Ciaz is not a hybrid but a mild hybrid technology. If you want a complete hybrid then go for toyota camry or prius. Even mahindra offers mild hybrid technology. Mild hybrid is more of start stop feature when the car is idle.
- CIaz is only a smart hybrid car. If you want a full hybrid car look at the Prius rec.
- Creta is different segment ..it is an SUV you can not compare it with sedan.creta is a good suv . Whereas ciaz and city and Verna are also one of the top selling cars in India. Ciaz is but cheaper than Verna and city.but Verna has more features and very comfortable. it depends on your requirements and on your budget. Ciaz,Verna and city all are very good vehicle
- Honda City petrol
- Price vise ciaz
- Yes it is. Mileage is around 24. I am getting this mileage. And this car hardly give any problem. Service cost is very cheap compared to other companies.its a good choice to have ciaz at home.
- My Ciaz diesel 1500cc, has been giving a mileage of 32 kmpl on ac & it's still increasing at 4000 km reading.
- Definitely it is.
- My buget around 10 lac i like ciaz nd verna but i like both car but ciaz is my first choice nd i want moon roof or sun roof. Nd counslt me which car i purchase in petrol model.
- Yes you can get. There are many companies which deals in 2nd hand car sales. Even you can contact nearest Maruti Suzuki dealer.
- You may get it in few showrooms, an effort is required but I don't understand why would u opt to go for older version
- I went to Manali with my ciaz. I have 2019 deisel top vairent. >> felt major powelags>> felt lack of ground clearance very much.>> going up hill was still okay. Speed was less. But going down hill, accidently a pot hole came and my car jumped over it, resulting in broken front right shauker.Over all very comfortable journey. Ciaz offered mileage of 22 throughout the highways and hills. Need to do sound insulation after the trip because the plastic started rattling from everywhere in the car. If you love your sedan, do not take it to such places. I didn't had option. If you have, go with a cheap car or an suv.
- It is an awesome vehicle for long tours even over hills but you should make sure if newer models have better or updated hill assist function or notSecondly, make sure you don't take it to muddy surfaces as I have a bad memory with the same.
- I own a ciaz RS model, its ground clearance is lesser than regular ciaz even then the car is a good to go to hilly areas as well. I have taken it to himachal, uttarakhand hills multiple times and its a pleasure.
- It has the most horrible music system with counter intuitive controls. The sound is all treble and no mid or low range. Cars half the price offer much better music experience.
- Ciaz is having 4 speakers. The sound quality is just amazing.i enjoy it's music system. The music system is having all the features required. It has inbuilt aux,cd,DVD,Bluetooth and pendrive in it. Whenever you increase the speed then volume of speakers Increases automatically. It's just amazing
- Ciaz comes with 4 speakers and inbuilt music system. The sound quality is very good. As you increase the speed the volume increases on its own. And I really love it's music system. Bluetooth works very well and very easy to pair mobile with car music system
- Ciaz doesn't come with sunroof even as option in its of the line variant
- There is no Sunrpoof in top model also.sunroof not given in Ciaz.
- NO- Maruthi cars doesn't have sunroof options in any variants.
- Verna Diesel has better power but ciaz diesel has better comfort and excellent mileage, Rear seat of ciaz is designed in a much better way than Verna hence more comfortable. Noise level of ciaz is relatively lower when compared to verna and ciaz is relatively of low maintenance sedan in its segment. With new ciaz launched I prefer to go for ciaz .
- Ciaz Diesel is what say economical I personally have got 30kmpl beyond what Maruti claim, while Verna is woo feeling car I have not drive it but it's quality is Superior then Ciaz vdi 2016 which I got. For budget drive go for Ciaz if wanna woow feelings for interiors Verna is very much good
- Verna is better as it has more features and more powerful engine however it is also more expensive. Only drawback compared to ciaz is legroom
- Ciaz is a sedan and creta is suv. Both comes uder different class of vehicles. You cannot compare these two vehicles.but still ciaz is very economical car and gives you a very comfortable ride in city condition. It will give you a very good average also and Service cost is less. On the other hand creta being Suv is a big vehicle with 126ps of power. It is a very sporty suv but you cannot expect a good average like ciaz from creta. It's price is bit high and you may not get all the features which you want to be in your vehicle. Both cars are one of the best in their segment and keeping the fuel rates in mind and your monthly running ciaz will be a better option..but if you like suv than you can go for creta but you will not get top model in 12lakh. But you can buy ciaz top model user 12lakh
- Hi, to be very honest you cannot compare sedan with SUV as both belong to different segments. If your requirement is city drive then you may opt for sedan car, if you love cross roads and frequently hit highways then you may consider to opt for SUV. For the budget you have you can get a top end ciaz petrol version.
- Go for Scross its a cross over suv which gives you a comfort of Sedan and gives a Suvs look so the Alpha model will always b the better choice
- Ciaz petrol automatic is best
- If you are planning to go for CVT, I prefer you go with Toyota Yaris as it's CVT is unmatched
- City
- Car does not give any problem as such. I drive almost 120 kms everyday however the areas of improvement can be power and a better quality stereo system as the touch panel gives problems from 1st quarter. All the owners I knw hv similar complaints in screen touch
- Car is very good. Generally you never encounter problems but the only issue with me is suspension is bit soft.so when you go on bumpy road it's bit uncomfortable..but no issues as the car provide very good comfort.
- Ciaz in more city drive if you mostly on off roads and highways creta will better, But if u want comfort drive in city with great mileage Ciaz will best
- Diesel variant discontinued
- Petrol
- Petrol
- It's a brilliant car. You will enjoy the spacious cabin of ciaz. Even the car is very comfortable for the passengers sitting at the back. Ac is very effective and car gives good mileage too. Only thing I would like to add is the car suspension is very soft and it is not that good for rough patchy roads. I drive this vehicle on hilly terrain and only issue is due to soft suspension. if you go fast on patchy road then you will hit your chassis on road. Rest the car is really nice
- I've used this car for almost 4 years now. Not a single issue, even though I'm a spirited driver. It's a brilliant car through and through, top level space, enough power and optimum feature list.
- Ciaz is the best thing which has happened to MSL in recent years, Its one of the best maintainable premium sedan in its segment.
- Depends on which Ciaz model you are going for . I have Ciaz vxi+ and it cost me around 8.6 lakhs on road. Do take a note that on road price vary state to state because different states have different road tax rates.
- Better to consult your dealer.because RTO fees different in every State
- Depends..
- All three cars are very good in terms of quality and the service provided by the company is also good . Maruti Ciaz service is less costly than Honda and Toyota. Although both Honda city and Yaris produce more than 100bhp whereas Ciaz gives around 90bhp. Ciaz handling is bit soft due to which driving is not so confident at higher speeds.whereas city provides a very good stiif steering which is very responsive at higher speeds.. If you want a good car with all modern features ,good mileage and cheap service go for Ciaz . If you are more driving enthusiast then go for city or Yaris .but you have to pay more money for top model.
- For Petrol i suggest Honda, diesel is good in ciaz if you want good value for money deal
- Yaris is the best thing which had happened to indian auto market, Very low noise vibration and you cannot find lag which CVT pulls over, Yaris CVT the best.
- Well they are super smooth you hardly feel passing through any bumps or p*t holes but you may hear the sound within due to suzuki's lack of sound isolation system
- Soft suspension and good .not feeling any j**k on path holes. Smooth riding.
- It's quite soft and provide very good comfort.but if you after for high speed then you feel the car a Bit unstable at higher speed .
- Honda amaze is a C1 segment compact sub 4 meter sedan . Ciaz is a C2 segment sedan .Both are different platforms ..We can not compare two different cars. .Both cars currently as per market reports are the best cars in the segment now . Ciaz is the largest sold vehicle after facelift version. Similarly new amaze ,best in segment qualitative best vehicle .Both are good cars .If wish a full sedan go for Ciaz .If your choice is a compact sedan choose amaze
- If you are looking for feature rich car without any budget constraint then you can go for ciaz. if you are concerned about budget and if you can compromise on space then you can go for Amaze
- Ciaz and Amaze are two different segment cars. However, to keep it short and precise, Ciaz is simply amazing in front of the Honda car which is compared to Ciaz is only namesake Amaze!!!
- Ciaz is longer and caters to a different segment altogether. i20 however is power packed and loaded with features. Both hv different pleasures. I find ciaz to be more comfortable and value for money as ciaz has lesser maintenance cost than i20
- For sure ciaz is best option Bcoz u'll have a sedan car instead of hatchback Including boot space and value added for your money go for ciaz...... And the maintenance sector ciaz is good then i20
- Ciaz definetly better in comparison to space and comfort
- Top variant is advisable
- Delta
- Ciaz, as its more classy.
- The 4-speed automatic is just basic in nature and although it does the job satisfactorily in the City, it cannot match of the Rivals like Honda City CVT. In the city, Ciaz automatic performs good but yes one has to be very gentle with the throttle inputs otherwise the engine revs to the higher RPMs before making an upshift which in fact doesn't sound pleasing.
- Gears ratio is tuned nicely, but can not perform like 6 speed AT gearbox .rpm might be on higher side in AT
- I have manual alpha
- In the comparison of automatic, Honda City still leads the pack as it offers 7-speed CVT which is far more responsive and a joy to operate than the 4-speed torque converter of Maruti ciaz. You also get the feature of paddle shifter in Honda City which is a very good addition to the overall package. The 4-speed torque converter of Maruti ciaz feels good in the city driving but cannot hold itself against the Honda City CVT. On the flip side, you have to pay around Rs 2.0 lakh more for the Honda City automatic than the ciaz automatic (starting price for AT).
- If you want to spend almost 3 lakhs more, then bonds city no comparison
- In petrol anytime honda city and in diesel anytime ciaz
- Comfort and support is top notch and the new petrol engine is very powerful and smooth. Best is that the car has no cabin noise.
- Seat comfort at the rear is very good, new petrol engine responds well
- All adequate and decent, it’s practical
- Good question and an excellent answer. Cars are driven to take us from A to B to C.Everyone is proud of their car ..let it be.some prefer an SUV to ride through our' cushioned roads'. some sedans, popularly known as 'cars' which carries a badge of upgradation from it's small sibling an hatch back. .ventos verna citys have their battle ground here. not to tell about the hatch backs..there sprouted subsidised sedans like dezires aspires indigo cs ameos Nowadays they got a premium tag ..Normal plus posh features is premium.like premium petrol. jeep means wiilyd for dome mahindra for some until the real jeep came.war for supremacy is here among dusters creta. luxury starts with cla to AMG among Benz. a4 6 8(Even no) are audis gaints q357now q8 .Volvo and bmws has their share. Toyota maintenance their classics with aftermarket philosophy. Innovas replaced ambassadors from parliament. bolero us synonymous with police and other govt car. Entry of hybrid to electric...All started from ambassodor to premier padminis . Above all maruti 800 which changed our concept of cars. So all is well hereto be continued.......
- Elite i20 is the best car for me. It's very good in comfort, good build quality materials used inside & outside of car but need to compromise with mileage of petrol i20. But one thing sure once you enter inside of car & drive it, you feel premium car like Audi driving experience. Performance wise car takes times to get pick up in 2nd gear, It easily go 60 - 100 km without any extra efforts very smoothly. Need to say if you are looking for premium class with good comfort can go blindly with i20 but mileage wise slightly slow compare to any Maruti vehicles... What else to say further.... As i have Elite i 20 Asta O Petrol 2017 model and driving busy Bangalore city traffic gets around 11 -12 km in city & highway around 14 - 16 km depends driving pattern. You can easily get around 16 km with smooth driving on highway & 12 km in city with full time Ac.Even i gets same till now. Maintenance come around 5- 7 thousands with service interval 10000 km. At the end not the least most depends on your budget & likes ultimately...
- Best reliability is associated with Toyota, best build quality, ride, handling and safety is associated with German and Czech cars, performance and efficiency is associated with Maruti, few German cars and Honda. Refinement, features and catchy designs are associated with Korean makes like Hyundai. No single car comes with all goodies as the universal truth is that everything has its own plus and minuses. So identifying a best car would mean to look for a car which is a decent all rounder in parameters highlighted above. Based on family requirements, usage conditions and pattern as well as budget you need to declare a car as best in segment
- Nope and I don't expect it coming in next few upgrades, rather go for a Honda City it has more than everything then we expect today
- NO- Maruthi cars doesn't have sunroof options in any variants.
- No sunroof even in top model
- It really depends upon the distance to be traveled on a monthly basis. If the distance covered in a month is 1000 Kms then petrol is a good option else go with the diesel variant. Personally, speaking I had driven 3 lakh kilometres in 10 years on Maruti Swift LDI . Ciaz diesel has the same 1.3 litre diesel engine which I am currently using, which is commendable. Considering the overall length of the car and the engine capacity the overall driving pleasure is awesome and indeed I felt true value for money after buying Ciaz in 2016, which I have driven around 84000 Kms. My car clocks around 800 Kms in one full tank. I am getting a mileage of 24 KMPL and I intend to upgrade my vehicle to SUV so I want to sell it to a genuine buyer as my car is as good as the Ciaz displayed in a Nexa showroom.
- I am riding it in city everyday .. I am using 3rd or sometimes 4th gear...Always below it....15.2 kmph (AC) is what I am getting..On highways 18 to 19.... Speaking about experience I feel it's best in class ...When u compared with other rivals...Moreover you can even drive on village roads comfortably without touching any lower body parts... Service cost is low...
- Ciaz Petrol is better for host of reasons and features. In comparison with other Sedans, Ciaz is much spacious, agile, produces excellent mileage, trouble free, high end features like auto dimming IVRM, electric OVRM, the car won’t lock if you put your key anywhere inside the car and try locking through touch door knob
- If you want lap of luxury with light interior I would prefer Ciaz, but, if you are willing to go with safety and companion feelings with each and every punch inside go with Verna as hyundai has one of the finest gearbox in this segment of cars.
- Comfort and economy wise ...I would suggest Ciaz.more features which won't help you for long go for Verna....but remember features may male function but economy and comfort zone never....so via is best.
- If you want more features and mind blowing design... Go for verna. Rather if you need more practicality and creature comforts go for ciaz by all the way
- I own a Ciaz VDI+ SHVS since 2016, the ride quality is awesome with very silent diesel engine.
- 1)Mileage in city 15, on highway 19 - 20 but if you use cruise control on the highway it will give 25 2)Road grip nice3)Top speed I don't know because above 120 it feels like the car is not in your control4)Suspensions are not best but good.**My personal review: Performance and mileage are good, Comfort and styling are best. But there are two things I would like to highlight that is 1)the brightness of the headlights is low, Even there are projector lamps but during night driving it gives a lot of problems this is the thing we generally can't check during test drives.2) the pillars of the car are very broad it hampers a lot of vision during road crossing and taking turns.
- The road grip is very good. Suspension, though a bit on the stiffer side, is excellent at high speeds and will keep most of the bumps out of the cabin. Top speed I've touched in my 1.3 diesel is 180+, but it is more comfortable and relaxed if you maintain between 80 and 120. Mileage, I use the car for daily commute of around 60 Kms and I'm getting 17-18 kmpl in the city, with AC. I haven't really kept an eye out when on long journeys, but it should easily return 20+.
