Celestial Blue, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver and Grandeur Grey are the new paint options.
Pearl Sangria Red, Stargaze Blue, Premium Silver, and Magma Grey have been axed.
Pearl Arctic White, Midnight Black and Prime Dignity Brown are retained to make it seven body shade options for the Ciaz.
Continues to retail from Rs 8.87 lakh to Rs 11.86 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
While the limelight on Maruti Suzuki comes courtesy the upcoming facelifted Baleno hatchback’s imminent launch, the brand has also silently given the Ciaz sedan a bit of a rejig. Now, it's got four new body shade options in the form of Celestial Blue, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver and Grandeur Grey. According to our dealer sources, these colours could also make their way to the updated Baleno.
That being said, the addition of these body shades has meant four existing shades – Pearl Sangria Red, Stargaze Blue, Premium Silver, and Magma Grey – have been axed. The Ciaz is also available in Pearl Arctic White, Midnight Black and Prime Dignity Brown, which makes up seven different colours for the sedan.
The Ciaz remains unchanged in the features department, with key bits including a 7-inch Smarplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, auto LED headlights, as well as keyless entry with push-button start-stop.
It is powered by a sole 1.5-litre Smart hybrid petrol engine that develops 105PS and 138Nm. It can be specced with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox.

The colour change hasn’t affected pricing, as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz retails from Rs 8.87 lakh to Rs 11.86 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and offered in four trims: Sigma, Delta, Zeta , Alpha and S. It continues to rival the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid and VW Vento.
