As the year is coming to an end, this week saw several carmakers announce the revised pricing for their lineups. Other news came in the form of spy shots of upcoming models, while we also broke an exclusive piece on the new Toyota Innova Hycross. Two BMWs Launched

Maruti And Toyota Vehicles Recalled 

Maruti and Toyota issued a joint recall after an issue was suspected in the shoulder height adjuster assembly of the front seatbelts. If faulty, the component could cause the whole seat belt system to disassemble. Next-Gen Hyundai Verna N Line Spotted

The new generation Hyundai Verna has been spotted testing on multiple occasions, but the latest spy shot reveals that it could also get a sportier N variant. If true, the Verna would be the third N Line offering in the country after the i20 and Venue N Line and the changes it’ll pack will be similar to the N Line treatment on the other two models.

Facelifted Hyundai Creta Crash-tested

The facelifted Hyundai Creta has been crash-tested by ASEAN NCAP and click on the link to know how the SUV fared in the test. The model tested was an Indonesia-spec unit, crashed in its base spec variant, although the SUV boasts a full suite of ADAS features in its higher trims.

The facelifted MG Hector Plus will get similar styling revisions as the facelifted Hector as suggested by a new set of spy shots. Both the Hector and Hector Plus are likely to debut on December 20.

The traditional year-end price correction is in full swing as carmakers have started hiking the prices of the models in their lineups. Maruti, Mahindra, Citroen, Mercedes, Renault, Audi and Kia have already announced a price increment, while other carmakers are expected to jump on the bandwagon very soon.
