Hyundai Exter Car Latest Updates

Hyundai has finally given us the full picture of the Exter by revealing images of its rear profile, ahead of the micro SUV’s launch on July 10. The styling at the rear is similar to what we’ve seen at the front and in profile - rugged and beefy.

The Hyundai Exter will be the first micro SUV in the country to come with six airbags as standard and it will even pack a front and back dash cam. 

The micro SUV will get five broad variant options. Pre-launch bookings are open for Rs 11,000 and it could be priced from around Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. 

Hyundai Exter Engine

Hyundai is likely to equip the micro SUV with the same 83PS/114Nm, 1.2-litre petrol and 100PS/172Nm, 1-litre turbo-petrol units found in the Grand i10 Nios. A five-speed manual is likely to be standard, while the former could also gets the choice of a five-speed AMT. A CNG unit could be introduced sometime after its launch.

Hyundai will offer the Exter in five trims: EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect.

The micro SUV is expected to pack a host of features including a an infotainment system (probably eight inches) with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digitised driver’s display, connected car features, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, cruise control, and keyless entry with push-button start. A sunroof can already be seen and six airbags have been confirmed as a standard fitment for the Exter. Its remaining list of safety features should include electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with camera.

Hyundai Exter Competitors

Hyundai’s micro SUV would take the fight to the Tata Punch, while being a rugged alternative to the Maruti Ignis and Mahindra KUV100.

    The hyundai exter looks small but will perform well.A 1.2-liter, Four-cylinder na kappa petrol engine projected to produce 82 horsepower and 114 nm of torque would power the exter.Both an amt and a five-speed manual gearbox are compatible with this powerplant.An ncap body has not evaluated the exter micro-suv.The new hyundai exter small suv will face off against the tata punch and citroen c3 in india.Looks small but will perform well and the cost is less as well that is very cool we look forward to buying it as soon as it is launched.
