Along with that, the BMW 7 Series bags the ICOTY 2024 Premium Car Of The Year, while the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been crowned the ICOTY 2024 Green Car Of The Year

The results of the prestigious Indian Car Of The Year (ICOTY) 2024 award have been announced. And it is the Hyundai Exter that has bagged the crown in this year’s edition. But that’s not all; ICOTY has also announced results for two other categories, namely the 2024 Premium Car Of The Year, and ICOTY 2024 Green Car Of The Year.

Selecting The Winner

The voting process is conducted based on criteria such as price, fuel efficiency, design, comfort, safety, performance, practicality, technical innovation, value for money, and most importantly, suitability for Indian driving conditions. This comprehensive evaluation ensures that the chosen vehicle not only excels but also resonates deeply with the unique demands of Indian roads.

The Jurors 

The selection of winners in each category are determined by a panel of jury members comprising automotive journalists and editors from major Indian automotive publications and media outlets. Among these influential jurors was Ameya Dandekar, editor,  Zigwheels, whose expertise and insights contributed to the evaluation process.
