  • Q. Which one should I buy? Destini 125 or TVS Jupiter or Activa 6G? And will it not be a disadvantage because both the wheels are 10 inch?

All these scooters are good enough. Activa 6G and Jupiter are of same segment and are direct rivals. The new list of updates on India’s most popular scooter have made the Activa 6G a more exciting proposition than before. However, the Activa 6G still misses out on some basic features which should have been standard by now. On the other hand, the Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. While the Honda Activa in its 6G avatar comes close to the Jupiter in terms of features, the Jupiter still has the edge when it comes to pricing. We feel that TVS could have equipped the Jupiter with more features to offset the inevitable price hike. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. if we talk about,, Destini comes in 125 cc segment scooter. Firstly, the scooter is meant to really carry loads, with a nice suspension setup for two-up riding. Then it is the most affordable 125 in the market. And performance-wise, it does everything nearly as well as the Access. If these three points meet your criteria, you definitely should consider the Destini 125. Comparatively smaller tyres make it a bit more agile. However, smaller tyres would be a disadvantage on bad road conditions. You may compare all these scooters accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

    • The Family Scooter That Almost Checks All Boxes

When I took home the Hero Destini 125 I was looking for a family friendly scooter that could cater to various needs and it did not disappoint. The scooter blends functionality with style offering features like a side stand indicator and an external fuel filler. The 125cc engine provides a decent punch making city rides smooth and effortless. With a fuel efficiency of around 50 kmpl it is been gentle on my pocket too. The suspension setup could have been better it feels a bit stiff on uneven roads affecting ride comfort.

    • A Mix of Power and Frustrations

After riding the Hero Destini 125 for several months, I had my share of highs and lows with this scooter. Powered by a 124.6cc engine, producing 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque. Its i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology aimed at improving fuel efficiency was a thoughtful touch for Indian traffic conditions claiming an admirable fuel efficiency of around 50 kmpl. However, my experience was not entirely smooth. The Destini 125, though robust in power somewhat lacked in the aspect of comfort.

It has always been smooth throughout.
