2024 KTM 125 Duke Bike Latest Updates
The 2024 KTM 125 Duke has been unveiled along with the 2024 iterations of the KTM 390 Duke as well as KTM 250 Duke. Check out all the updates in our report here.
The 2024 KTM 125 Duke gets a bunch of styling updates including a new headlight set up, sleeker body panels and longer fuel tank extensions, and a redesigned tail section.
Powering the small capacity naked is an updated 125cc Euro 5.2-ready liquid-cooled engine. The engine casing is different, and it makes 14.95PS, 11.5Nm. The UK-spec version of the current-gen 125 Duke makes the same power but 12Nm of torque. On the other hand, the India-spec current-gen model makes 14.5PS and 12Nm.
The bike is built on the same revised trellis frame, aluminium subframe and swingarm as the 2024 390 Duke. However, it uses a 43mm WP Apex Open Cartridge fork with 150mm travel, and no adjustability, and a offset preload-adjustable WP Separate Piston monoshock with 150mm wheel travel.
The wheels and disc brakes at both ends are borrowed from the KTM RC 390, meaning a 320mm front and a 240mm rear. It even gets cornering ABS with Supermoto mode. The bike comes with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/music control. It also gets a revised switchger with 4-way buttons for menu navigation. The bike weighs 154kg without fuel, and gets a revised, comfier 800mm seat.
The next-gen baby Duke can be expected be launched in India some time next year, with a price tag of around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). it will rival the Yamaha MT-15 V2.0.
