It is no secret that the KTM Duke range is all set to get a massive overhaul this year, and now, we have a clear look at the design of these upcoming KTM bikes, thanks to spy images that have surfaced online.
While it is not clear whether the test mule is a 125 Duke or a 390 Duke, both these KTM bikes feature the same design in foreign markets. Hence these spy shots could give us an indication of what the upcoming 2023 KTM 390 Duke may look like in India.
Aesthetically, the Duke range is even more aggressive, along the lines of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, owing to the elongated tank extensions and bolt-on aluminium subframe. What’s also expected in this bike is a twin-fan radiator setup which should help in improved heat dissipation, similar to what we’ve already seen in the 390 Adventure and RC 390.
The spy shot also shows a new headlight design, which we’ve already highlighted the last time we spotted this bike in India. Along with all the visual changes, the next-gen Duke range is set to get a whole range of mechanical updates, like an updated cast aluminium subframe and an offset monoshock. Here’s all the changes explained.
The upcoming Duke range is expected to be priced at a premium over the current range. For perspective, the current 390 Duke is priced at Rs 2,96,230 (ex-showroom Delhi), and the next-gen bike may slot in the Rs 3.4-lakh range by the time it is launched in India.
