Q. Wanna purchase a bike but confused between RE Thunderbird 350cc in white color and KTM Duke 200 cc. My basic requirement is, it should be comfortable for long drives or long route of upto 500km along with good pickup and mileage and also I'm looking for sport bikes. I like KTM but have heard even after a small accident the parts of KTM bike gets damaged easily as compared to Thunderbird. Will you suggest, which one is better KTM or Thunderbird?
  • Never go for a KTM if you want such rides of 500KMs it's engine will become a volcano, KTMs are comfortable for cities ot has a great initial acceleration but i wouldn't recommend it for long rides instead go for Royal Enfield Classic 350 it'll make you feel like god during long rides, but if you want it for cities i would recommend Duke200 or FZ25 or RS200... Also You can choose RS200 for rides but not more than 250KM rides
  • Best for ktm duke 200 because very comfortable and good pick up this bike compare to ns 200,thunder bird 350 is very less mileage compare to ktm duke 200
  • For long tour go for Thunderbird
Q. Which is good to buy between Pulsar RS 200 and KT M Duke 200
  • Firstly, the character of both bikes are different from each other.. The DUKE 200 is high revving motor and has hell lot of power and concentrated at low end you end up falling and loving instantly, but the problem is as it was concentrated at low end there is no power left at topend and struggles to stay at triple digits speed and to cruise but in city you'll have hell lot of fun. The quality is good & maintenance is on higher side compared to RS 200..When comes to RS200 it is butter smooth and power delivery is linear and topend is high compared to duke 200 because of it's long gear ratios and when comes to quality the panels and plastics of RS200 isn't that great they vibrate a lot and endup rattling after few days and The maintenance is on cheaper side and costs half the duke 200 maintenance.
  • If you want quick acceleration, much lighter weight , looks and want to do stunts then go for duke . But if you want sports bike like feel , good mileage of around 32 -35 kmpl , better top speed of 155kmph , soothing sound , ABS and all this at less price then Go for RS200 . I own RS200 now for 3 years . No problem at all .
  • Firstly the character and tuning is different from each other.. The Duke 200 is a high revving engine with lots of power at low end and instantly you'll fall in love but u
