Tvs ntorq 125 is one the popular models currently. The colour variants are too trendy, Which attracts young audience.Comfort-wise, This scooty is good, But a little heavy for some elders or who have used tvs pept previously. The front lights are very bright, And the switch to control it is easy to understand. Also, There's a quick toggle for immediate upper deeper light mode.Speedometer is digital, And quite minimalistic.Usually starts by the quick start switch in the handle.Ideal for 2 people to ride.Other features like double stand, Indicators, Etc present as usual, Like in normal bike. There's no manual gear system.Mileage is quite around 40-45 in normal usage.Price is around 1 lakh, Depending on your state and city. The vibrations are mild while starting or riding. The front space between seat and handle, Is little bit small. It's not suitable for heavy shoppers, Since less amount of space is present for goods. The build quality is very good in terms of sturdiness. So, If you're a young crowd, Or someone who likes a little bit of trendy looking bike/scooty, With a good amount of features, You may consider it.Otherwise, In terms of mileage, It's not suitable.

Great Scooter

The scooter broke the Indian market, in India there was a concept that Scooters were meant for women. Then came this monster, breaking all concepts, shattering all the misconceptions. I was used to Activa, Dio, Yamaha's Ray, and Fascino but when I first rode the Ntorq It was something new. The first model gave me the sense of having the raw power of the vehicle in my hand. Just a little input of the throttle and I was scared by its power. Once I got to know its character it was easy, all the praise aside there are some things.

Underseat storage

5.0

I think the NTorq is the best 125cc scooter in the Indian market. It's a perfect balance between the conventional 'going to buy sth' scooter experience and performance-oriented motoscooter segment. It can do jobs of both worlds. I'm getting a decent mileage of 40-45 kmpl which is not bad and is compensated by it's unique design n look. The performance is great, churns out 9.4 PS of power and can easily reach speeds of 90kmph. It can touch the magic 100 too. The torque provided by the motor is amazing. Overtakes are pretty easy. Rider comfort is great. The suspension is stiffer than the Activa or Access but it's not as stiff as Aprilia. It handles the roughness of Indian roads with ease. The pillion experience is better than any other scooter in the market. It's a fun scooter, easy to maneuver and park. Don't get me started on the first in segment bluetooth connectivity. It's really helpful (atleast to boast about). The navigation works like a charm. It shows the last parked location making it easier to search your ntorq among the crowd. Talking about the underseat storage, it has 22 ltrs of boot space but it's design makes it difficult to fit a full-faced helmet. You can fit a modular helmet just fine. The 12 inch tyres provide a great grip, even in the rain. The front disc provides a good bite but the rear drum doesn't do the job well. You get performance and comfort in a single package. Lastly, the quality of the switches is top notch (just TVS things). Now the maintenance and service center efficiency varies from place to place. In Bhubaneswar, it's time taking but satisfactory service.

It's been more than I year

3.8

It's been more than i year since i have bought my tvs ntorq 125 in black and red variant.Max speed i was able to get on highway was around 70 km/h.Vehicle feels very premium and easy and fun to drive. However it's battery got faulty in less than year only.Eventhough the warranty of battery was mentioned for 1 year still i wasn't expecting that. And rear brake lever on left has got very free play so it's sometimes hard to guess the pressure of lever and actually stopping distance.Overall it's a good experience and i am very happy to own tvs ntorq and easily recommend to anyone although i do suggest to research little bit on other scooters available in market because of its hefty more than one lac price. But this scooter is here to stay in market for atleast 5-8 years provided they keep making important changes and improving on current issues. And also space below seat is very limited that you can't even put a full size helmet in it.And it's left mirror was also coming out but it was an easy fix.So my rating is 3.5/5 and also if you are not planning to do stunts or trying to squeeze every ounce from your scooter then it's a very good option to go with.

I bought TVS Ntorq in April

I bought tvs ntorq in april 2019 and have ridden about 7000 kilometers since. The biggest con for me has always been the mileage. With the recommended tyre pressure per the manual, I've got 20-25 kmpl in the city and about 30 in on the highway. But with 40psi in the rear and 35 in the front(the default at fuel stations) which is way way more than prescribed by tvs i.E.28 and 24 respectively, I've been getting 40kmpl lately but not more than that which is okay now i guess.Rest everything is fine. The performance and the overall throttle response is good for the city but not too good in highways.I enjoyed flicking it through traffic very much on busy delhi roads but not on the wide roads of jalandhar where all the vehicles on the roads are bigass cars and you can't overtake any of them as the average speed on the roads is about 90 km/hr.Breaking could be better but is fine for a scooter i guess.Suspensions don't do a very good job at absorbing the shocks from potholes.Engine is smooth.Boot space is fairly good.Exhaust note is very good. And that's pretty much it.

Driving experience

The driving experience is quite good in the segment the scooter provides instant torque, Which is useful in daily life traffic.Comfort-the seats are good with it gel like material very comfortable to long drive of about 200km per day.The body is very stable in roads the weight to power ratio is also good.Hand have great leg space for tall people to 6 foot height the handle doesn't kick to your legs when turning.Mileage - the mileage depends on driving if drive enthusiastically the meailage may go down under 40 but in a proper drive i get about 44km in normal day traffic and about 48km in highway. The engine is very stable.Features - provides useful features and personally for me i doesn't felt the feature as gimick.
