dream big, dream ntorq

The TVS NTorq 125 packs a 125cc engine with good pick-up and zippy acceleration. It's mileage can vary depending on riding style, but you can expect anywhere from 35 to 45 kilometers per liter. I love the comfortable riding position and the easy handling. The price is on the higher side compared to some other 125cc scooters. TVS has a good service network, and known for relatively low maintenance . The NTorq has good pick-up for zipping The NTorq comes with standard headlights and taillights safety.

Good pickup

4.6

Ntorq has good pickup and speed handling. While the cons would be the braking which needs to be improved.I have been using ntorq for 3 plus year and after sales service is not good as such.

I am 6.2 height from

5.0

I am 6.2 height from Bangalore, For TVS Ntorq( I'll refer this as bike hereafter), I have altered bike seat to match my height, bike balance is really good after seat alteration, Mileage in city for my rough ride (30-100kmph speeds)used to get around 35kmpl. when I travel to my hometown, I got mileage around (30kmpl) when I ride @105 kmph, 42 kmpl mileage with average speed of 75 kmph & when I ride in economy like 55 kmph, i got 55 kmpl mileage. So, Mileage depends on how much speed I ride. My ride is for 200 KMS for my home town, went around 4 times to my hometown town, I never stopped my bike until I reached home, I usually fill shell power petrol when I ride long distances, I'll suggest it to everyone otherwise bike will be heated up with normal petrol.I bought my bike in EMI without knowing which financier to choose, simply went through the Showroom peoples choice & didn't knew who is financing my bike until my bike got delivered to me ,though it is not a bad choice, I believe we must be knowing that minimum information to compare if we had any better choices in financing our bike.TVS Service is really good, costed me around 1100 rupees for first 4 free services with oil change 2 times, this is best compared to other Brands.Bike not punctured even once.my daily commute is for 10 KMS a day with up and down to office usually takes 10 minutes to reach.Accessories I have bought guards for 2000 rupees, which I regret,I think there's no need of them, it really spoils the bike look. If you want to buy, then buy black color one, don't go for steel color.I have bought a new bolt & nut, cost 10 rupees for exhaust/ silencer when I missed them while riding due to bike rubbling except that I never spent any other money other than petrol.Bike is awesome for it's Torque & power, I felt like no bike can compete with this NTorq.Instrument cluster is also very useful & is not available with others in this range. So, go for itIn a year, ride is 7500 KMS and it is great that this bike is up to my expectations

My Experience

I bought bs6 standard model in march 2021, Till now I have completed 12000 km. So, If you are planning to buy this scooter this will help you a lot. Pros- 1) pick up is great, Easy to maneuver in traffic. 2) sound has so much bass at lower speeds. 3) it's meter, That's again a usp of this scooter 4) if you drive sensibly in eco mode with the right tyre pressure you can easily get mileage of 45-50 according to the traffic you face and around 55 on highways at a constant speed of 50-60 5) engine is good and is reliable for long-term usage with mint condition 6) broader tyres give a better grip on roads. 7) build quality is also good as i have met with an accident at a speed of 50, Scooty also dragged on the road but only a few scratches and nothing else 8) looks are another merit of having this scooter, For youngsters and college students, its looks are great. Cons- 1) it's maintenance because its service is in every 4 months and they change the oil once in 8 months and clean the clutch shoe in 8 months while they can do it at an interval of 8 months only this thing only increases the service cost and labor charges. And if we do not do the service in time there will be a warranty lapse. The First 4 free labour charge services will cost you around 500-600 and paid service will cost around 1500. Even cars and other scooters also do not want that many services. 2) vibrations are there at lower speeds if the clutch shoe is not clean. Every 8 months(approx) or 8000 kms it becomes dirty in city areas. 3) mileage because if you want the thrill of this scooter and if your riding style is aggressive then it will give you a mileage of 30-35 in the city which is very low. 4) back pain on long rides as the seat is small. Long rides conclusion- if you want to drive in the city for normal. Usage and want a reliable scooter with good power and sound then this is the best choice for you.

Underseat storage

5.0

I think the NTorq is the best 125cc scooter in the Indian market. It's a perfect balance between the conventional 'going to buy sth' scooter experience and performance-oriented motoscooter segment. It can do jobs of both worlds. I'm getting a decent mileage of 40-45 kmpl which is not bad and is compensated by it's unique design n look. The performance is great, churns out 9.4 PS of power and can easily reach speeds of 90kmph. It can touch the magic 100 too. The torque provided by the motor is amazing. Overtakes are pretty easy. Rider comfort is great. The suspension is stiffer than the Activa or Access but it's not as stiff as Aprilia. It handles the roughness of Indian roads with ease. The pillion experience is better than any other scooter in the market. It's a fun scooter, easy to maneuver and park. Don't get me started on the first in segment bluetooth connectivity. It's really helpful (atleast to boast about). The navigation works like a charm. It shows the last parked location making it easier to search your ntorq among the crowd. Talking about the underseat storage, it has 22 ltrs of boot space but it's design makes it difficult to fit a full-faced helmet. You can fit a modular helmet just fine. The 12 inch tyres provide a great grip, even in the rain. The front disc provides a good bite but the rear drum doesn't do the job well. You get performance and comfort in a single package. Lastly, the quality of the switches is top notch (just TVS things). Now the maintenance and service center efficiency varies from place to place. In Bhubaneswar, it's time taking but satisfactory service.

Great Scooter

The scooter broke the Indian market, in India there was a concept that Scooters were meant for women. Then came this monster, breaking all concepts, shattering all the misconceptions. I was used to Activa, Dio, Yamaha's Ray, and Fascino but when I first rode the Ntorq It was something new. The first model gave me the sense of having the raw power of the vehicle in my hand. Just a little input of the throttle and I was scared by its power. Once I got to know its character it was easy, all the praise aside there are some things.

TVS Ntorq 125 reviewDesign:

4.6

Tvs ntorq 125 review design: the ntorq has an aggressive design, With a dual-tone color scheme and an edgy design.Performance: the 125cc engine has quite a fast response and delivers a breezy commute through city traffic.Handling: the grip and turn radius of the beast are pretty comfortable and the front telescopic and rear mono-shock suspension are very balanced and provide a comfortable ride through uneven patches also.Fuel efficiency: considering the performance it offers, The mileage gets a little compromised. The city mileage is somewhere between 32-36 and on highways the mileage goes up to 36-38.After-sale service: tvs as an automobile company offers great customer service and its widespread network of service centers makes it easy to get the vehicle serviced.

Nice Riding Experience

Driving this scooter is awesome on the highway. The stability is awesome. As my scooty is new. Power is good. But doesn't have a smooth engine as compared to the Access 125cc, Honda scooter. It has a 3-valve powerful engine. Sfiff suspension on the back side. Suspension is not as compared to the Aprilla 160cc scooter. Vibration on both handlebars. It literally disappears once it starts running a continues after 11/2 hrs. I think they should make refined engines like Japanese bikes, a Bike company. As I am planning to use abro oil treatment -full synthetic engine oil 2500 km after 2nd service.
