After a strong 2025, the two-wheeler landscape is already buzzing about what’s coming next. From new electrics to classic retro-inspired petrol-powered bikes and mid-size adventure machines, 2026 looks set to deliver some of the most talked-about launches in years. Here’s a quick look at the top 5 bikes that we are particularly excited about:

Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, is expected to go on sale in March 2026. This roadster-style EV has already been spotted testing and carries the brand’s take on urban electric mobility. It uses an electric powertrain with details yet to be announced but is expected to deliver performance roughly equivalent to a 125cc petrol-powered bike. The design includes a distinctive girder fork and loads of tech and rider aids, positioning it as a lifestyle commuter rather than a mass-market EV.

BMW Motorrad’s new F 450 GS represents a fresh entry in the mid-capacity adventure segment and is likely to reach Indian shores in early 2026. Based on a 420cc parallel-twin engine producing 48PS, it promises more refined performance than current small-capacity ADV bikes. It will get long-travel suspension, a 19-inch front wheel, and advanced rider aids, the BMW F 450 GS aims to sit between entry-level and larger adventure tourers.

Triumph is also gearing up to expand its presence in India’s retro-classic segment with the Bonneville 350, expected around mid-2026. Likely to be designed with classic styling cues such as a round headlamp, sculpted tank, and upright ergonomics, it will compete with other 350cc retro bikes. While exact specifications aren’t known yet, the bike will likely focus on being a comfortable, easy-riding classic with a price tag (which will be lower thanks to GST 2.0) that caters to enthusiasts looking for an international badge at an accessible price point.

The Ultraviolette Shockwave is another highly anticipated 2026 arrival. Positioned as an electric enduro-style bike, it makes 10.8kW of peak power with a light 120kg curb weight and claims an IDC range of about 165km per charge. With a claimed top speed of around 120kmph, multiple traction modes, and switchable ABS, Shockwave aims to being a fun-focused EV that’s at home on all sorts of bad roads - once deliveries kick off in 2026.

Rounding out the list is Ultraviolette Tesseract, an electric scooter expected to see deliveries in the first quarter of 2026. While technically a scooter, it has grabbed attention for its tech and performance specs, including up to 162km if claimed range on a 3.5kWh battery and a claimed top speed of 125kmph. Features such as a TFT display, dual-channel ABS and segment-first radar-tech show how electric urban mobility is evolving beyond simple scooters.
