BMW has delayed the F 450 GS India launch
The brand has pulled out of India Bike Week 2025
It will be the most affordable adventure bike from the brand
According to our sources, BMW has pulled out of India Bike Week (IBW) 2025, delaying the launch of the F 450 GS in India.
Our speculation is that the brand will likely launch it in early 2026. The F 450 GS will be the most affordable adventure bike in the brand’s lineup, with an expected price tag of 4.50 lakh. Unofficial bookings for the bike have already begun at dealerships, from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000.

It will be powered by a new 420cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which produces 47.6PS at 8,750rpm and 43Nm at 6,750rpm. What makes the BMW F 450 GS even more promising is the low kerb weight of 178kg, making it lighter than the KTM 390 Adventure.
It will be available in 4 variants: Basic, Exclusive, Sport and GS Trophy. Each variant gets different feature sets and slightly tweaked underpinnings. For a more detailed breakdown of the differences, you can check out our EICMA 2025 unveil story here.

The F 450 GS will go up against other parallel twin ADVs in the market like the Honda NX 500, Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr, and Benelli TRK 502. It will also be a more premium alternative to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure.
