Ultraviolette Tesseract is the Bangalore-based brand’s first electric scooter. It is priced from Rs 1,45,000 (ex-showroom) and can be pre-booked for Rs 999. Deliveries will commence in the first quarter of 2026.
Ultraviolette Tesseract: Prices & Variants
The Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter is available in three variants, based on battery pack options, including a 3kWh variant, 5kWh variant and 6kWh variant. The base variant is available at an introductory price of Rs 1,20,000 for the first 10,000 customers. After that, the electric scooter will be available for Rs 1,30,000 (both prices ex-showroom) for the next 50,000 customers. Moreover, Ultraviolette will reveal the prices of the mid and top variants by the end of 2025.

Here’s what each variant gets:
The Tesseract 3.5 (base variant) produces a peak power of 10kW. It has a 3.5kWh battery pack and provides a 162km claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range. The Tesseract 5 (mid variant) and Tesseract 6 (range-topping variant), both generate 15kW peak power. The mid variant is equipped with a bigger 5kWh battery pack and delivers 220km IDC range. The top-of-the-line variant has a 6kWh battery pack and claims to offer a 261km IDC range. It accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in a claimed 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 125kmph (claimed). Ultraviolette says that the electric scooter can be charged from 0 to 80 in under 1 hour, when using a fast charger.
The Ultraviolette Tesseract is equipped with an all-LED lighting setup with twin projector headlamps and floating LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The scooter gets a 7-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity features like Google Maps navigation, call & SMS alerts, ride analytics, towing alerts, location tracking, Violette AI integration, and OTA updates.
The Tesseract has radar-based features, similar to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) in cars. This includes blind spot detection, lane change assist, and collision alerts. The scooter provides haptic feedback on the handlebar and has two dashcams, one at the front and one at the rear. Moreover, it has a spacious 34-litre underseat storage. The electric scooter also has 2 USB charging ports and a wireless charger.
The Ultraviolette electric scooter uses a disc brake at both ends. It is fitted with 14-inch alloy wheels, which are wrapped with 110-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres. The Tesseract rivals the other premium electric scooters in the Indian market such as the Ola S1 Pro Plus, Simple One, and the Ather 450X.

Tesseract Battery Warranty
Ultraviolette announced that the Tesseract electric scooter will come with a battery warranty of 2 lakh kilometers and or 8 years, whichever is earlier. Hence, providing customers a worry-free ownership experience and peace of mind.
ZigSays
The pricing of the Tesseract base variant is spot on. The 3.5kWh variant directly rivals the Ather 450X, but makes more power and similar range. Ultraviolette has only revealed the price of the base variant and will reveal the prices of the other two variants by the end of 2025. But we expect the Tesseract 5 to be priced at around Rs 1.7 lakh, and the Tesseract 6 should cost somewhere around Rs 2 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).

Moreover, the full range of features may not be available in the lower variant. Only the higher variants are likely to get all the features mentioned above and a few features might be optional like Violette AI and haptic handlebar feedback amongst others.
