Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 and S6 spotted testing
It's the first time the scrambler, S6, has been spotted
The Flying Flea C6 is going to launch in March 2026, while the S6 will follow shortly
It looks like Royal Enfield has gone on a testing trip to Ladakh and has taken its upcoming models to see how they perform in high-altitude conditions before their launch. First, it was the Himalayan 750 and the Himalayan Electric, and now it's the Flying Flea models, the C6 and the S6. While the Flying Flea C6, a roadster, has already been unveiled, it is the first time that the S6 has been spotted testing.
The Flying Flea C6 was unveiled in February this year, and Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will launch in March 2026. While the battery and motor specs haven’t been revealed yet, we do know what set of features the roadster will get. What is more interesting to see is that the spied version continues with the girder fork setup, a rare occurrence in today’s day and age. Apart from that, the overall bike looks the same as the one unveiled a few months back.
The star of today’s show is the Flying Flea S6, a scrambler which is based on the same underpinnings as the C6. Sure, there are some differences when compared to the roadster, such as different fenders at both ends, tail light mounted on the tyre hugger. The S6 gets a chain drive instead of the belt drive on the C6. Spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres on the scrambler as compared to the alloys and road-biased tyres on the roadster. A different rear sprocket and an inverted telescopic fork instead of the girder one on the C6.
From what it looks like, the S6 will be the more off-road-oriented of the two Royal Enfield Flying Flea siblings. Royal Enfield has not revealed the battery specs of either electric bike, but expect them to have performance that is equivalent to a 125-150cc petrol-powered bike. That said, the range will also be limited as a longer range requires a larger battery pack, and in turn will increase the motorcycle’s weight. The Flying Flea bikes will be lifestyle-oriented bikes rather than being marketed towards the masses. Expected to be priced at around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the Flying Flea C6 will launch in March 2026, which will be followed by the launch of the S6.
