BMW R 1300 GS Adventure

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is the touring focused Adventure bike from the German manufacturer. It gets a boxier design and styling compared to the R 1300 GS, and also features a larger fuel tank

Price: The R 1300 GS is sold at a price of Rs 22,95,000 (ex-showroom)

Features: The bike gets electronic riding aids such as traction control, and cruise control along with a few other bits that enhance the bike’s practicality overall. This includes heated grips and even a tyre pressure monitoring system as well. Riders can also get a few optional extras such as adjustable seat height, which makes it easier for shorter riders to handle the bike.

Engine: The bike is powered by a 1300cc, liquid-cooled boxer engine which outputs 145PS and 149Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission which works in conjunction with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The bike gets a telelever suspension setup at the front and a paralever system in the rear. Braking setup consists of a 310mm disc setup at the front, and a 285mm single disc at the rear.

Rivals: The R 1300 GS goes up against other ADVs in the segment such as the Triumph Tiger 1300.
