Tesseract Key Highlights

Price: The Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter is available in three variants: Tesseract 3.5, Tesseract 5 and Tesseract 6. As their names suggest, they come with 3.5kWh, 5kWh and 6kWh battery packs. It has an introductory price tag of Rs 1,20,000 which is valid only for the first 10,000 customers. This offer has been extended for the first 50,000 customers. After that, the price will go up to Rs 1,45,000. All prices ex-showroom, and are for the base variant only. Pre-bookings for the Tesseract have begun for Rs 999 and the deliveries will start from Q1 of 2026.

Features: The Ultraviolette Tesseract comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display which can be connected to a smartphone via Ultraviolette’s application which allows for call & SMS alerts and music control. It is the first scooter to get onboard cameras at both ends, radar assistance for front and rear with collision alert, a blind-spot monitoring system and lane-change assist. Other features include keyless start, park assist, hill-hold assist, 4 levels of regenerative braking, full-map navigation, cruise control, USB-C charging port, wireless charging in the apron cubbyhole, and all-LED lighting with dual LED projector headlights. The scooter has an underseat storage capacity of 34 litres. Rider aids include dual-channel ABS, 2 levels of traction control and stability control.

Motor: The top-variant of the Ultraviolette Tesseract gets a mid-mounted electric motor which makes a peak power of 15kW and has a claimed top-speed of 125kmph. The scooter does the 0-60kmph sprint in a claimed 2.9 seconds. The mid-spec variant makes the same power as the top-end variant meanwhile the base variant makes 10kW of power.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Tesseract gets a conventional telescopic fork and dual rear shock absorbers. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels at both ends wrapped with radial tyres.

Rivals: The Ultraviolette Tesseract will go against the likes of Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro Plus and Simple One.

Range: The top variant is powered by a 6kWh battery pack which delivers a claimed Indian Driving Cycle Range (IDC) of 261km. The mid-spec variant gets a 5kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 220km. The base variant is powered by a 3.5kWh battery pack wh
