Quick Read:
Gets the same 440cc engine as the X440
Has a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup
Low seat height of just 683 mm and a small 9-litre fuel tank
Harley-Davidson has taken the wraps off its latest cruiser, the new Sprint 440. Based on the same platform as the X440, it gets a relatively lightweight construction, a pretty low seat height, the same 440cc single-cylinder engine and modern features, all wrapped in a compact cruiser package.
One look and you can easily tell that this is a Harley-Davidson bike. The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 gets a design that draws inspiration from the brand's larger cruisers. It features a suspended round LED headlight, a sculpted fuel tank, a bobbed rear fender and a fastback-style seat.

In terms of colour options, the Sprint 440 will be offered in Dark Billiard Gray, Vivid Black and Teal Thunder. All three colour options feature an orange tank graphic with a warped chequered pattern and Harley-Davidson badging. The side panels also get a graphic featuring the brand's new 'Harley Hare' character.
Powering the Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 is the same 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine as the X440 and the X440 T. It produces 27 PS at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox, with a assist-and-slip clutch.
While Harley-Davidson claims a fuel efficiency of up to 34kmpl, but considering the small fuel tank capacity of just 9 litres, the motorcycle will be best suited for rides in and around the city.

One of the biggest highlights of the Sprint 440 is its accessible ergonomics. It gets a seat height of just 683 mm, along with a narrow profile and tapered seat, making it easier for riders of different heights to get their feet on the ground.
The motorcycle has kerb weight of 187 kg (3.5 kg less than the X440 T). Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm inverted fork with 130mm of travel and twin shock absorbers with seven-step preload adjustment and 76 mm of wheel travel.
Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc with a two-piston calliper and a 240mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. Dual-channel ABS is standard. The Sprint 440 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in 100/90-19 front and 150/60ZR17 rear tyres.

The new Sprint get the same TFT console as the X440, a 3.5-inch round colour TFT display housed in a circular instrument console above the handlebar. The display shows information such as the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter and other essential tell-tale indicators. The motorcycle also gets full LED lighting, along with a USB Type-C charging port positioned above the headlamp. ABS is standard across the range.
Harley-Davidson will also offer a bunch of accessories for the Sprint 440. These include throw-over saddlebags, a sissy bar with a backrest pad, a detachable clear windshield, an engine guard and a flatter Moto handlebar.
Buyers will also be able to choose between different seat options, including the Tallboy seat for taller riders, the Reach seat for shorter riders and a Brawler solo seat. The brand will also offer accessories from its Willie G Skull collection, including footpegs, bar-end mirrors and hand grips.

The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 will make its public debut at EICMA 2026, with global market availability and launch timelines varying by region. In the US, the motorcycle is scheduled to go on sale in Spring 2027 (around March 2027).
As for India, we expect the Sprint 440 to make its way to our shores soon, considering its development partnership with Hero MotoCorp and the brand's existing presence in the Indian market. It is based on the Harley-Davidson X440 platform, and we expect it to be priced somewhere around the same ballpark as the X440 T (around Rs 2.6 lakh ex-showroom).
