From entry-level scooters to full blown mile-munching baggers, the month of March saw it all. Here’s a lowdown onto all the two-wheelers that made their way to India this month.
Matter’s electric bike finally has a name, and that’s Aera. It’s loaded to the gills with features and packs performance similar to 150cc bikes. Not only that, it carries quite a reasonable price tag, a fair bit less than what we expected it to come in at. Check it out here.
Bajaj took the wraps off its 2023 Chetak electric scooter, which, along with a refreshed colour palette, got a few other upgrades. Here’s a quick look at what’s new.
Like many other bikes and scooters, Hero gave the Xtec treatment to the Super Splendor too. The commuter now packs a lot more features for a reasonable price hike.
Joining the OBD 2-compliant bikes’ list were Honda’s retro twins, the H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS. Both bikes got some basic changes, for which they demanded a rather steep sum of money.
After nearly a decade of them being around, Bajaj finally gave the NS160 and the NS200 their biggest updates yet. More about the updated NS200 here. To check out the new NS160, you can click here.
This eye-achingly-gorgeous neo-retro bike made an India comeback after nearly three years. So do the Triumph Bonneville T100 and the Speed Twin need to worry? We think not, because the Z900RS also carries an eye-watering price tag!
Hero Electric revamped the existing Optima and NYX lineup for a more youthful appeal this month. With these updates, the brand also crossed the one-lakh-rupees price point for any of its products for the first time.
Honda finally gave us the Shine 100, its weapon to tackle India’s best-seller, the Hero Splendor Plus. The Shine 100 looks like the Shine and is nearly Rs 7,500 more affordable than the Splendor!
Almost a month after launching the bikes overseas, the updated Royal Enfield 650 twins finally made their way to India. Here’s everything you need to know about these retro beauties.
BMW launched the behemoth R18 Transcontinental in India this month–a bike that, as its name suggests, is the perfect tool to munch-miles on in absolute comfort. Check out the Bavarian brand’s flagship bagger here.
The Japanese bikemaker updated the Activa 125, giving it an OBD2-compliant engine, extra storage space and a top-of-the-line, tech-loaded variant: the H-Smart. Check out what it’s all about here.
Among all these launches was Suzuki, who gave the Access 125, Burgman Street and the Avenis a cleaner heart, one that’s E20 fuel compatible as well. All you need to know about it in our launch story.
