Suzuki Burgman Street

Suzuki India has positioned the Burgman Street as a premium and practical scooter for everyday use. It is aimed at riders who prioritise comfort and convenience over outright performance.

Design: The Suzuki Burgman Street stands out with its maxi-scooter design, featuring a large front apron, sleek twin LED headlamp, and a wide, flowing body. The styling gives it a bigger scooter feel, which makes it appealing to those who want something different from conventional 125cc scooters.

Features: Feature-wise, it gets an all-LED twin headlamp, a USB charging port, and a 24.6-litre underseat storage in all variants. The Ride Connect variant has an LCD instrument console, while the top-spec Ride Connect TFT variant gets a 4.2-inch TFT console, and keyless ignition. Other than this it gets two spacious storage pockets on the apron, and two utility hooks.

Engine: Powering the scooter is a 125cc, air-cooled engine, same as the Access 125, that is known for its smooth and refined nature. Here it makes 8.4PS and 10.2Nm.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: In terms of hardware, the Burgman Street gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends and comes with a front disc brake and rear drum brake, supported by CBS (combined braking system). The Ride Connect variant weighs 114kg, and the top-spec Ride Connect TFT variant weighs at 115kg (both kerb).

Rivals: The Suzuki Burgman Street competes with scooters like the Honda Activa 125, TVS Ntorq 125, and, but it sets itself apart with its focus on comfort and premium appeal.
