The platform's flexibility also extends to its battery and charging systems, confirming support for an onboard charger and Charge Drive Control technology.

Spy shots reveal the production-ready Konarc stays close to the EL01 concept showcased at Ather Community Day 2025. The design is conventional and practical, featuring a handlebar-mounted headlight and a large LED DRL on the apron. For daily usability, it includes a wide, flat floorboard and minimalist body panels, prioritising function for family commuting. The overall look is clean and focused on mass-market appeal.

The scooter is built with a telescopic front fork for suspension. It rides on alloy wheels, with a larger 14-inch wheel at the front and a 12-inch wheel at the rear, a combination aimed at providing stability. Braking duties are handled by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. The setup also includes Ather’s Advanced Electrical Braking System, which combines regenerative braking with the conventional system.

Expected Battery Capacity

The EL-01 platform can accommodate battery packs ranging from 2 kWh to 5 kWh. The Konarc is expected to use a mid-sized battery pack from this range to balance cost and range.
