Ather Konarc Spy Shots Reveal Key Details Ahead Of Launch

Ather Energy’s upcoming electric scooter Konarc has been spotted testing once again. It is based on the all-new EL01 platform and the latest spy shots reveal some important new details before its official launch on August 29, 2026.

What The Spy Shots Reveal

Although the test mule is still heavily camouflaged, a few interesting details are now visible. The Konarc appears to take inspiration from Ather’s EL01 concept, with a handlebar-mounted headlamp and a large LED DRL placed on the front apron, giving it a different identity compared to the Ather Rizta. The side panels look clean and simple, while the rear gets a slim LED tail lamp. There’s also a sturdy grab rail that doubles up as a small backrest for the pillion.

The scooter also looks quite practical for everyday usage as there is a small storage bin visible on the apron for keeping essentials like a phone or wallet. Other than this, even the pillion seat appears to be quite spacious for comfortable rides.

The underpinnings reveal a 14-inch front wheel and a 12-inch rear wheel setup. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and a rear drum brake. The Konarc also uses a swingarm-mounted motor, which is expected to be based on the Ather 450’s unit but tuned for a smoother and more relaxed riding experience. Battery pack options are likely to range between 2kWh and 5kWh. The fully digital instrument console is also visible and is expected to be a TFT unit with Bluetooth connectivity and AtherStack 7 OS.

Expected Price And Rivals

Ather Konarc Spotted

The Konarc will be one of the first scooters based on Ather’s new EL platform and is expected to be priced between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will take on rivals such as the Bajaj Chetak C2501, TVS Orbiter and Hero Vida VX2.
