Matter Gets 40,000 Pre-Bookings For The Aera In A Month!

The electric bike is available in two variants: 5000 and 5000+

The Matter Aera has caught the attention of its potential customers, as the Gujarat-based manufacturer has secured over 40,000 pre-bookings in a month for its first electric bike. Pre-bookings for the electric motorcycle are available on the manufacturer’s official website and OTO Capital.

Both variants, the Aera 5000 and 5000+, get a liquid-cooled 10.5kW motor and 5kWh battery pack with a one-of-a-kind-for-EVs 4-speed manual gearbox and a claimed range of 125km. Matter claims the electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60kmph in under six seconds. Features on the motorcycle include a 7-inch touchscreen display, keyless operation, onboard navigation, 4G connectivity and park assist among others.

Recently, after the FAME II subsidies were revised, the prices for both variants have gone up substantially. Currently, the Aera 5000 and Aera 5000+ are priced at Rs 1,73,999 and Rs 1,83,999 ex-showroom, respectively.
