Q. What is the waiting period for Maruti Suzuki Baleno?

@ MANIVASAGAM | The same is the case with Kivaraj Nexa at ambattur. they have promised 6 to 8 week now my waiting is more than 12 weeks. no response from NEXA. Maruthi is becoming arragant

@ Vinith | I heard the same that there is no delivery till September for AGS they were pushing for manual if i want delivery soon. AGS is going on with huge waiting period, i booked on August 2022. Not sure they are delivering vehicles in this month or not. The last delivery was done till people booked on March-april post that no delivery was given as per dealers in chennai i enquired multiple showroom in chennai similar answer everywhere. But six months waiting period seems to be very high and blaming chip shortage is also becoming old as the supply is somewhat stable now. Other brands like Hyundai or Altroz have much power waiting period of 2 to 3 months, the automatic variants of ivt in i20 and dct with the NA engine in altroz not feels so good for trade off in fuel economy and maintenance to me so only had booked Baleno.

@ Balaji | Is car allotted for you Bro, Today I got call and they said mostly today would be allotted and would get vechicle in 15days. I have booked May 26, you hv booked 29th Apr... so if not allotted pls check your branch

@ Sud | In chennai, Have booked baleno zeta AGS on 29th of April but dealer said it may take another 2 more months for allocation. So waiting period increases from 4 months to 6 months now. But cars are delivered for the bookings done during March 2022 in appropriate time.Not sure whether Maruti is focusing on new releases ?

@ Balaji | Booked May last week with NEXA promising 10-12 weeks but 12th month Aug last week they said I will get allotment by September last week, again September when I checked they said even in mail that I would get by Oct last week. Huhhh now they are saying Oct last week or Nov first week only allotment would be done as there is no allotment done specific for AGS cars. Its in chennai Chrompet NEXA... I'm totally frustrated now as I may get after waiting for 5-6 months...Worst experience NEXA don't give wrong information to customers and make them await for their dream Car... Chrompet NEXA Manager and Team Lead Imran says their is no AGS delivered but though I could see there are nearly 18k Baleno sold out in Aug and September, not even any AGS Baleno delivered in Aug r Sep 22. Who will believe this ???

@ Milan | I have booked in June'22 and still no sign of delivery. It might go to next year. Pathetic service taking customer for granted. I was promised delivery in 3 months.

@ Vijayakumar | Don't see any improvement. Booked on June 20 ..below message is what I got from dealer. We would like to inform you that the delivery of your booked vehicle may take 18-20 weeks. We shall endeavor to deliver your vehicle at the earliest and keep you informed about the status of the same.

@ Himanshu | When i booked baleno in April last week in bangalore, i was told 3-3.5months but in August i was again told it would take another 3months i.e. in November. This sudden delay was announced after the launch of grand vitara. I think they have stopped baleno production to priortize vitara production.Toyota glanza is another option, its the same car with toyota brand. They too have a waiting of 3months but not as bad a baleno

@ Balaji | Today got call from Nexa and they said will be alloted mostly today, after many follow ups from my end they not even updated any info, just saying please wait sir all these 6 and half months. Finally the wait period is 7 months(May 26th to Nov 10th). Hope I would get it by November end as transit time 13-15days. NEXA is saying they started allotment for AGS this month, Please check with your branch,hopefully you may get Dec or Jan as it seems you have booked by June ?
