BMW 7 Series 2023 Latest Updates

BMW has unveiled the seventh-gen 7 Series, which is likely to be introduced in India by late 2023. It gets a variety of different drivetrain options including an all electric, mild-hybrid petrol and diesel engines, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The all-electric powertrain is the i7 which will share its wheelbase, features and equipment with the gasoline powered counterparts.

BMW is expected to retail the next-gen 7 Series flagship sedan from Rs 1.50 crore (ex-showroom) onwards. It will renew its rivalry with other luxury sedans like the Audi A8 and the  Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

 

BMW 7 Series 2023 Engine

While BMW hasn’t confirmed the engine options, we know the 7 Series will get a host of different drivetrains including a mild-hybrid petrol and diesel, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The all-electric powertrain is limited to the i7 variant.

BMW 7 Series 2023 Features

A new 31.3-inch 8K touchscreen display for the rear passengers is the highlight of the new 7 Series’ feature list. It also gets a 12.3-inch curved digital cockpit, a 14.9-inch infotainment system, powered front and rear seats with massage function, and ambient lighting. The luxury sedan can also be had with 5.5-inch touchscreen displays in the rear doors for rear seat telephony and media controls. It also features Level 3 Autonomous technology.

It will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8.
