7 Series Key Highlights
Features: A new 31.3-inch 8K touchscreen display for the rear passengers is the highlight of the new 7 Series’ feature list. It also gets a 12.3-inch curved digital cockpit, a 14.9-inch infotainment system, powered front and rear seats with massage function, and ambient lighting. The luxury sedan can also be had with 5.5-inch touchscreen displays in the rear doors for rear seat telephony and media controls. It also features Level 3 Autonomous technology.
Engine: The India-spec model gets a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, producing 380PS and 520Nm, which can be boosted up to 540PS with the help of the 48-V mild-hybrid system. Transmission duties are carried out by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. A diesel engine will be introduced later this year.
Rivals: It is a rival to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8L.
Variants: BMW has brought the 7 Series to India in a single 740i trim.
