  • Q. There's about 9k price difference between TVS XL100 Comfort kick only start vs i-touch start. Are there any other prominent differences other than this self touch feature that justifies the price?

    The TVS XL100 Comfort i-Touch Start is equipped with Flywheel Magneto 12V, 200W @5000 rpm ignition and it has both Kick and Self Start and this vehicle have a kerb weight of 89 Kg. On the other hand, TVS XL100 Comfort is equipped with Kick start only and it has a kerb weight of 86 Kg. Apart from this, there is no other difference between both vehicles.     I got a mileage of 60 kmpl. offers a comfortable riding position with a single seat. The XL100 has a fuel tank capacity of around 4 liters which make me bother on long rides due to insuffucient oil.

It has a 99.7cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke BS6 engine which offers sufficient performance for navigating city traffic and carrying a passenger. Generally the milage which i experienced is around 60 kmpl. However, the XL100 is known for its excellent fuel efficiency, making it an economical choice for daily rides .The absence of disc brakes, especially on the front wheel, might be a safety concern for me .
