As for goodies such as a quick-shifter and traction control, they should have been offered as part of a premium variant. On the other hand, the Yamaha R15S remains one potent small-capacity supersport for beginners. In its version 3.0 guise, it has become sharper and more focused, making it great for sport riding or trac enthusiasts. However, the aggressive riding stance could cause discomfort if you intend to use the bike for daily commuting and the quality of components have also gone down. RC 200 much better option than R15 V3 but only if you budget permits it provides an adjustable suspension with the very other body that can do well on track as well as on normal roads but if you are running short on budget then go for an 583 has optimum performance with in its budget.
I have been a KTM rider past 3 years with my RC 200, experience has been good , talking about RC and R15 v3 first of all Power comes in Picture RC is 25bhp where as R15 is 19 Bhp, both bike have super sporty riding position,so comfort wise both bikes are not great ,the Yamaha R15 v3 handle bar is more lower then that of RC , if you want to upgrade to higher cc bike later then would suggest ktm rc as you will get use to Power later on which is important for when u go for higher cc bike
I myself ride R15 and I've been on so many long rides on it . I agree that R15 is a sporty bike and is not designed for long rides . The seating posture offered by R15 is more suitable for race tracks and city gliding rather than highway long rides . While on a long ride you'll feel more pressure on your palm and elbow due to the front inclined posture of the rider . If you are ok with the posture than the bike is all fine for a long ride....it won't give you any troubles on long rides and also offers a much better mileage than the other bikes in its category
Short answer is no but it depends if you are riding in highways and taking rest or breaks in between you can do long rides or else it is extremely uncomfortable to ride due to its riding position and if you still wish to do long rides on it then try changing its handlebars to get a more upright position .you can change it from authorised service centres
Yes ofcourse it benificial to long rider bcs the arms r also long to hold the handle bar easily to capabilities improve when they ride and turns to short or long ride both and no nech or back pain to long rider bcs i also ve 6+ feet height i own this bike from march 2019 and no problem with at all so i love this go for it without thinking more

No bikes for you for the college...start with any 125cc first....for weekend little stretch r15 v3...faily commute to college Fz 150...if you need style and girlfriend and get spoiled R15v3 or gixxer 150. Go in a bus bro...study well ..we can take super bikes later...because we love you
Honda hornet/honda xblade/ honda unicorn/Hero xtreme 200s/ Pulsar150/ pulsar220/ ns 160/ns200/apache1604v/apache 200 4v/RE std 350/xpulse 200/yamaha fzsv3...all under 1.5L on road and suits tall persons...my personal choice would be RE 350Std and pulsar 220 big bike feel...
