Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Gixxer SF

Q. Can we remap ecu. for Suzuki gixxer 250 or what can i do for more power.... ..but still I can beat duke 250 in highend?
  • There are multiple performance enhancers available in the market such as upgraded ECU, performance exhaust, air filters, etc. However, the brand does not recommend installing aftermarket accessories in your bike as it damages the engine's life and overall performance. As for the comparison, the KTM 250 Duke gets a 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that generates 30PS at 9000rpm and 24Nm at 7500rpm, whereas the Gixxer 250 employs a 249cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 26.5PS and 22.2Nm in its BS6 guise. Q. Gixxer SF 150 vs Honda Xblade (2020) a better buy?
  • Both bikes are good enough. If we talk about Suzuki Gixer Sf 150, with its premium quality and fit and finish, the Suzuki Gixxer is an undoubtedly impressive motorcycle. But this premiumness comes at a price. The massive hike is hard to justify and the BS6 update has robbed it of performance. So if you are lookiing for a fully faired massive bike looks and budget is not an issue, you may go for it. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more agile and fun to ride bike with comfortable ergonomics and ride quality, you may go for Honda X-Blade. Also, it is more affordable too. You may compare both bikes accoridngly. Do take a test ride for better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
Q. I want to buy bike 150cc to 160cc which one should i go with Suzuki Gixxer SF or Yamaha MT15 or Yamaha FZ or recent Hero Xtreme 160 R or Honda X-Blade or TVS Apachi 160 or Bajaj Pulsar. Also assist me with which one doesn't have gear indicator?
  • Vinod Here MT15 is pure performance oriented bike you can't compare with other. and among 150-160 according to my experience and opinion Apache 160 will be my first choice over NS200 which comes as second coz of the stock tyres they offer. Third will be the new contentender with more intent is Hero Xtreme I was impressed with it's wonderful handling and performance but I don't like it's styling ( but if you like its styling you can go for it blindfolded) and the next will be Gixxer SF 155 especially for its riding comfort and styling which also gives good mileage among the first two.And finally To be frank I don't think change in the tank design front head lamps will help you to long last in this 150-160cc segment which both Honda and Yamaha is doing by their Blade/Hornet/trigger/Dazzler and FZ FZ FZ

Q. Does KTM 125 Duke worthy of money as in this price range we get 150cc or 200 cc bikes? Actually I am confused between Duke 125 and Gixxer SF 150?
  • Not answer this is my question if u get duke 125 in 1.40 or something than why did u not got another high cc power bike in same price
Q. Is Gixxer SF good for long rides and touring ?
  • I have personally done long rides on my Gixxer with pillion but the seating is very uncomfortable for long journey. After market cushions will do good, stock seat is extremely rock like. average speed for the vehicle without much engine strain will be around 90 to max 100km/hr.
  • Yes absolutely. I have travelled with my 4yr old kid and my wife for 160 km twice without any issue or pain on my body. Actually its very fun to ride on highways.
  • Obviously, the seating position is very comfortable! you are not gonna feel any back pain or hand stress after riding a long time!
