Q. Does this Bike requires lot of maintenance and care? What is the average maintenance cost I want to buy a bike for daily usage and also for touring, which one will you suggest z900 or gsx s750?
  • No doubt both the bikes are amazing but for daily usage and also touring my suggestion is to go for gsxs750 as it gives good mileage and it also gets 3 level of traction control which is very much helpful for all types of road conditions. If you want to go for looks and more power a raw bike go for Z900
Q. Is it for touring like Honda 650 - GSX S750?
  • I own one a do not recommend it for touring. Its for pure fun of short distance riding (max 2-3 hrs) on an weekend morning. Its better within city confines or closed tracks as there is no wind protection and headwinds can be very tiring to negotiate on the wrong side of 120 kph. But the four cylinder engine is a gem with a slick shifting gear box. There are very few bikes where you can find the neutral so easily. You can also feel power being delivered almost till 11000 rpm before red-lining at 11.5k. I would have loved a touring version of this bike due to the nature of the engine that can pull effortlessly from 70 kph with great acceleration in 6th gear. It is also rideable at 60kph in 5th gear inside city with enough reserve available for quick overtaking without a gear change. You can try installing handle bar raisers, a better seat, a big wind screen and couple of panniers for short touring on tarmac.
  • It is any time better than honda 650 , right from comfort to mileage
Q. Is Z900 lighter than Gixxer S750 & does it handles better?
  • Z900 had immense power but had a less tech compared GSX S750 for handling on high speeds and bad roads. plus point of buying GSX S750 is it has 3 level traction control because of which the bike gets good handling on wet roads and bads roads too
