Honda CB Hornet 160R BS4 Experience User Reviews

Its good a bike.In 150-60cc section.It is good for biking within 100km.Even in city traffic it's performance, Pickup is good.Mileage is 43-45km/lit when max speed recorded on my bike is 119kmph.I f ride is in economy, Mileage is up to 50 km/lit.My longest trip on this bike was 150km of which 70km was in hills.I enjoyed that ride.But mud was clogged in the bearings and i had to shift on 1st gear on a 40° slope.When cleaned the bike could climb same slope in 4th gear.So engine power is good enough.Some features wich i am not satisfied with are suspension, Head light focus, Seat material, Tyre design.Suspension is it bit hard even with adjustments.Head light focus is straight which is good for city ride but not for night touring.For night touring headlight must fall on road at least 100 to 150 ft in front of bike but that is not possible with company settings.Seat material is bit hard and not comfortable for continuous riding above 1 hr.I found that tyre design with curved margin is not suitable for roads with low grip conditions or with loose gravel, Bike often loosses grip on corners.But it's good for speed riding in ideal road conditions.Overall experience is somewhat satisfactory for a commuter who doesn't have to carry luggage on the back.Last thing company service centers are very good with polite and well trained staff.Monthly servicing has always been satisfactory.

Basically, I love the bike when I newly purchased it. The look, design, comfort, and many more but one of the best things which are personally loved is the balancing which is amazing still now. It makes me cool but now it's more than 5-year bike condition getting low day by day even though I will do service every time. The gears are not working this problem is started after 2-3 months I told to the customer care but no changes that's why I accept that the thing can't change. But now time to change my bike because of the flow of new trends and I want new features on my bike. Overall my experience is good and still I love balancing in future also.

With my experience my Hornet 160R CBS is a beast in its own Style ,performance ,engine but my suggestion is to Honda is give the build quality bit high & should have engine k**l switch on its segment....my version compare to all bike Hornet is the most affordable bike & best safest bike in Indian roads ,but Polin was not comfortable for long rides & head light was very low night ride was somewhat difficult with that... Overall rating is 4.5/5 O.5 is due to built quality & engine k**l switch & headlight ...

My driving experience with hornet is reliable, With very low maintenance cost wid good engine with very low sound, This bike runs very smoothly and it is also very good for long run.The mileage is good, Sporty look and many more, Recommend to purchase and see the reliability.

The ride quality is quite good, Comfortable ergonomics and even taller riders will be comfortable on this, At height speed the suspension feels quite spongy and post 6k rpm the vibrations kick in, Major missing for the engine k**l switch, Rear disk braking is quite adequate front being good but the abs intrusion is quite much.Tyres look chunky and quite gripy.The maintenance part is quite good too average service is like 500-800 rupees doest required to be service as much no major issues yet.Using this as a daily commuter is being a good experience over all.Milage mostly is around 50 kmpl the least i got was 46.Scope for improvement - honda should absolutely fit in a engine k**l switch, Suspension is too spongy, The brake could have been better too.Overall a good bike and amazing ownership experience as honda service centers are abundant all over india no.Looking to buy this go for it just keep these issues in mind.
