At this price, the 2019 model is likely to be around Rs 15,000 more expensive than the previous-gen model

The new Suzuki Gixxer has been spotted sporting a new silver paint option.
It will be powered by the same engine as the Gixxer SF’s.

2019 Suzuki Gixxer Price Revealed highlights

It seems like Suzuki is planning to launch the new Gixxer 155 sooner than we had expected. In just a matter of a couple of weeks, the 2019 iteration has been spotted twice now. This time around, we have received exclusive images of the 2019 Gixxer in a new silver paint job. Additionally, as per our sources, the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer is likely to be priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (on-road Chennai), making it around Rs 15,000 more expensive than the current model.

The upcoming bike will be powered by the same 154.9cc single-cylinder as its fully faired cousin, the Gixxer SF. This engine pumps out 14.1PS and 14Nm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. However, as new emission norms are all set to kick in, the new model will get fuel injection, making it BS6-ready. We have done a detailed story on the 2019 Gixxer, which you can read over here.

At this price, the new Gixxer SF will lock horns with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Yamaha FZ FI Version 3.0 and Honda CB Hornet 160R.
