The new base colour now costs Rs 6,992 more than the previously available base model. The top colour option now costs Rs 10,992 more than the previous version– which was priced at Rs 2,04,950.

The red shade gives the bike a bold and sporty appearance. It gets matte finish all-round with silver fenders. The paint scheme gets a dual-colour fuel tank, and red side panels have the star-shaped logo. The overall paint scheme shouts old-school and the red colour contrasts quite well with the silver. It is a good choice for buyers who prefer their bike with a vintage-looking paint scheme.

A similar-looking paint scheme to the All Stars Red one but replaces the silver fenders and the red paint with a dark blue shade. Although, the fuel tank does get silver panels on either side which add a nice contrast. The All Stars Nebula Blue gives the bike a distinctive and elegant look. The deep blue adds a premium touch to the bike and is a good option for buyers looking for something different without being too flashy.

The All Stars Aurora Green shade gives the bike a unique appearance. The dark green colour all-round adds character to the motorcycle and complements the overall military-inspired styling of the motorcycle. With a touch of silver on either side of the fuel tank, this colorur scheme will be appreciated by people who want their bike to be more understated.

The All Stars Matte Black with Red Clad shade gives the bike a sporty and aggressive appearance. The matte black finish with red tank panels, pops out and elevates the overall look of the bike. The tank panels feature bold branding of the model number ‘42’, which feels like a personal touch by the brand. These small details make the bike stand out and will be preffered by people who prefer a stealthy look with a sporty touch.

This colour will be preferred by people who want to fly under the radar. The All Stars Matte Black with Black Clad shade gives the bike a stealthy appearance. This colour scheme gets an all-black treatment which, overall, looks quite stealthy.

The All Stars Chrome catches our attention the most. The chrome treatment really makes the motorcycle stand out, while the tank gets a black extension with the JAWA logo and ‘Est. 1929’, which is when the brand was founded. Thus, making the bike look unique while paying homage to the brand's founding and legacy.

Other than that, the Jawa bike continues with the same bones. It is powered by the same 334cc liquid-cooled mill, it makes 29.1 PS and 29.6 Nm. It is mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is suspended on a telescopic fork with dual shock absorbers at the rear. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels and gets disc brakes at both ends, respectively.
Even the features list, which consists of an LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, and a USB charging port, remains the same.
With these new colour options, those who are planning to buy the Jawa 42 FJ will have a wide range of shades to choose from. While the new paint schemes do look good, we would have appreciated it if Jawa launched the 42 FJ with the new ‘Katar’ engine which was launched in the Yezdi Scrambler and some updated features. All said and done, the 42 FJ goes up against the likes of Triumph Speed T4, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Royal Enfield Hunter 350
