Suzuki Gixxer Range And Intruder Prices Increased Again highlights

In January 2021, Suzuki announced the first price hike across all its offerings -- Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, and the Intruder. Now, the Japanese brand has increased its prices once again.

The Gixxer SF now costs Rs 1.16 lakh as compared to the previous Rs 1.14 lakh. Likewise, the Intruder’s price has been bumped up from Rs 1.22 lakh to Rs 1.24 lakh. Here’s the updated price list for 2021:

The surge ranges from Rs 2,013 to Rs 2,074, depending on the model. Suzuki has made no mechanical or cosmetic upgrade to justify the hike, which is, in all probability, a result of the increased production costs.

With the updated pricing, the Suzuki Intruder now costs as much as the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220. However, the Bajaj cruiser offers a larger, 220cc engine that makes 19.03PS of power and 17.55Nm of torque compared to the Intruder’s 155cc engine generating 13.6PS and 13.8Nm. So, as you see, the Avenger 220 offers more bang for the buck.
