Upcoming Bajaj ADV Spotted: Here Is What We Expect

Bajaj is finally getting ready to enter the off-road motorcycle segment with a brand-new bike. While it was first expected to be a proper ADV, the design is more like a dual-sport. The recent spy shots suggest that the bike is now in an advanced stage of development.

What Does The Spy Shots Reveal?

The test bike was spotted alongside a group of Bajaj Pulsars and KTM motorcycles, hinting that it is indeed a Bajaj product. While the motorcycle is heavily camouflaged, a few details stand out. The tail-light appears to be borrowed from the Pulsar NS200, though the rest of the motorcycle looks completely different.

A Purpose-Built Adventure Motorcycle

The motorcycle gets a tall stance, a high-mounted front fender, a long single-piece seat, and substantial bodywork around the fuel tank area. The rider's triangle also appears to be quite promising. A wide handlebar, upright ergonomics, and a slim mid-section should make the motorcycle comfortable on long rides while also making it easier to ride while standing on the footpegs during off-road sections.

Interestingly, the bike’s overall proportions and silhouette are somewhat reminiscent of the KTM 390 Enduro R, although this Bajaj appears to feature a larger fuel tank, which could translate into better touring range.

What Engine Could It Get?

We expect the bike to have a 250cc single cylinder engine. It could have a good low and mid-range performance.The engine might have a good balance between performance, fuel efficiency, and affordability, making the motorcycle appealing to both first-time ADV buyers and experienced tourers.

Expected Hardware And Features

The spy shots suggest the motorcycle will get long-travel suspension at both ends, which is essential for handling rough roads and broken terrain. The bike also rides on spoke wheels that appear to be a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup, a combination commonly seen on adventure tourers because it offers a balance between highway stability and off-road capability.

A side-swept exhaust is also visible, further hinting at the motorcycle’s adventure-focused intentions. We can hope Bajaj includes tubeless spoke wheels, at least as an option. They are significantly more convenient for touring compared to traditional tube-type wheels. The test bike was also seen carrying a top box, and despite that, there still appears to be enough room for a pillion rider, suggesting practicality has been given importance during development.

What To Expect?

The motorcycle already looks very close to production, which indicates that its launch may not be too far away. If development continues as planned, Bajaj could unveil the bike either during the festive season this year or sometime in early 2027.

As for pricing, we expect it to be positioned around the Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. If Bajaj manages to hit that price point while delivering genuine adventure-touring capability, the motorcycle could become an attractive alternative to bikes such as the TVS Apache RTX 300, Suzuki V-Strom SX, and even the KTM 250 Adventure.

For buyers looking to enter the ADV segment without stretching their budget too much, this upcoming Bajaj could be one of the most interesting launches to watch out for.
