If recent years have been about accessibility and mid-capacity growth, 2026 is shaping up to be a big one for proper big-bike enthusiasts in India. Several manufacturers are either updating proven formulas or re-entering segments they’ve stayed away from for a while. Here are five superbike launches that are expected to grab attention this year:

The Norton Manx and Manx R mark a significant moment for the British brand as it looks to re-establish itself globally. It gets a 1200cc V4 engine producing 206 PS. The Manx (a hyper naked) and the Manx R (a supersport) are likely to be positioned as a premium, limited-run superbike in India. With a focus on lightweight construction and high-end hardware, the Manx will go up against the other supernakeds in India, such as the KTM 1390 Super Duke R and the Ducati Panigale Streetfighter V4. While the Manx R will rival the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4 and the BMW S 1000 RR.

Ducati is expected to launch the 2026 Monster in India, and it will be powered by the new 890cc V-twin, which we have seen on other mid-capacity Ducatis. The motorcycle has been launched globally, and makes 111PS. The Monster has always been about accessible performance, and the new version is expected to continue that trend.

Yamaha’s 2026 plans revolve around re-establishing its big-bike lineup. The MT-07 and R7, both powered by the 689cc parallel-twin engine, are expected to continue as versatile, rider-friendly options in the naked and supersport segments.
The MT-09, with its 890cc triple, remains Yamaha’s more aggressive naked bike globally, while the upcoming R9 is expected to slot in as a fully faired sportbike based on the same platform. Together, these bikes should give superbike lovers a fantastic set of choices - especially for fans who love solid Japanese engineering.

Triumph is expected to expand the Trident range with the new 800, powered by a larger triple-cylinder engine producing 115PS. Positioned as a middleweight naked globally, it will offer a balance between everyday rideability and strong performance. With loads of modern electronics and a clean roadster style, the Trident 800 should make it a logical step up from the Trident 660.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one of the most popular and highest-selling litre-class bikes in India. The 2026, while launched globally, will most likely make its way here this year, considering how large a fan following it has. With a revised design language, complete with massive winglets, it looks really set to cut through corners like a scalpel. The 998cc inline-four engine is unchanged, continuing its reputation for track-focused performance at an affordable price point.
