The Scram 440 platform-based Himalayan is just around the corner

Royal Enfield has set a date for the Himalayan 440 launch - September 4, 2026. This Himalayan will be based on the same platform as the Scram 440. It will be like an old-school bike but with a modern twist.

The upcoming Himalayan 440 will be powered by a 443cc air-oil-cooled engine that makes 25 PS and 34 Nm on the Scram. We can expect some changes to the tuning to suit the ADV character. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Just like the bike it's based on, this Himalayan will have spoked wheels but 21-inch at the front and 17-inch at the back. Suspension will be a telescopic fork and monoshock. Braking will be handled by disc brakes at both ends. This ADV should have dual-channel ABS, traction control, maybe riding modes, and the Tripper navigation display. 

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is expected to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom), which should be significantly lower than the Himalayan 450.
