In India, the Hero Splendor symbolises great dependability, good fuel-efficiency and brilliant reliability. To maintain its hold on the market, the Splendor has been made available in multiple models and variants. The range is available with two engine options and platforms: the foundational 100cc Splendor Plus and the slightly more powerful 125cc Super Splendor. Within the family there are also the more tech-loaded Xtec variants too. Here is a quick rundown of all the models available in the Splendor family.
Hero Splendor Plus

At the start of the lineup sits the standard Splendor Plus. It uses the familiar 97.2cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which makes 8.02 PS, 8.05 Nm and comes paired to a 4-speed gearbox. This powertrain has been known for delivering reliable performance with maximum fuel economy. The equipment list remains pretty straightforward, featuring an analogue instrument cluster for essential readouts and Hero’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) to cut fuel consumption during stops. With prices starting from Rs 77,777 (ex-showroom), it remains the go-to choice for buyers prioritising low running costs over everything else. The Splendor Plus is further available in four variants: Drum, i3S, Special Edition and 125 Million Edition.
Hero Splendor Plus Xtec

If the standard Splendor Plus is a bit too basic for you, then the brand also sells a slightly more feature rich Xtec variant. While it uses the exact same 97.2cc engine and chassis, its value proposition is the upgraded technology. The simple analogue dials get replaced by a slightly more modern fully digital instrument cluster. This new console gets Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for call/SMS notifications to be displayed on the go. A practical USB charging port is also included, along with a real-time mileage indicator to help riders maximise efficiency. It’s a smart upgrade for those who spend a lot of time on their bike. Pricing for the Splendor Plus Xtec starts at Rs 81,238 (ex-showroom), and is further available in two variants: Drum and Disc.
Hero Super Splendor

For riders who need a little more grunt from their bike for longer commutes or frequent highway use, the Super Splendor Xtec is the logical step-up. It gets a larger 124.7cc engine, increasing output to 10.8 PS and 10.6 Nm. This extra performance is channelled through a 4-speed gearbox, which makes for more relaxed cruising. It comes with a digital instrument cluster including the Bluetooth-enabled console and USB charger, but further enhances its practicality with a bright, full-LED headlamp. This makes it a more capable all-rounder, starting at Rs 84,448 (ex-showroom) for the drum variant, and the pricing for the Xtec 2.0 starts at Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom).
