It has been an exciting week to say the least as we say lots of launches taking place, new motorcycles being unveiled and some jaw-dropping spy shots being surfaced. Here’s all you need to know about everything that took place throughout the week.
Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457 in India for Rs 3,95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. The bike gets the same engine, underpinnings and features as the RS 457. The Tuono is a street naked version of the RS 457, it replaces the fairings, the headlight setup and the clip on handlebars for a new dual-LED headlight setup and a straight-raised handlebar to give it a more upright riding posture. The fuel tank capacity has gone down by 0.3 litres from the Aprilia RS 457 which was a 13 litre fuel tank capacity.
Royal Enfield has showcased their first electric motorcycle in India, the Flying Flea C6. The bike has a cool retro-roadster design which is complemented by a girder fork, cooling fins on the battery pack, a new TFT display with tons of features and a slime profile. The motorcycle was first showcased at EICMA 2024 motorshow and has made its way to India.
Triumph has launched the 2025 Speed T4 in India. The motorcycle retains the same design as before but sports some changes which includes new colour schemes, a steel-finish exhaust and new 3D ‘T4’ emblems on the side panels.
Honda has launched the 2025 Hornet 2.0 in India at Rs 1,56,953 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is Rs 13,502 more expensive than the previous model. It gets a 4.2-inch TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity, switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle now gets an OBD-2B compliant 184.4cc engine which makes 17PS at 8,500rpm and 15.7Nm at 6,000rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
New spy shots have surfaced from Europe of the Triumph Scrambler 400X but, this time around, the motorcycle is spotted with tubeless spoke wheels. The bike looks more purpose-built as we hope it gets longer travel suspension, better brakes, and a revised engine tune which will make it more offroad friendly than it already is.
Jawa has launched the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition in India for Rs 1,98,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It shares the same design language and underpinnings as the regular Jawa 350. The Legacy Edition is limited to 500 pieces and gets a touring windscreen, pillion backrest and chrome crashguards as standard. Owners also get a leather keychain and Jawa 350 scale model along with the motorcycle.
