The Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition has been launched in India at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). While the price hasn’t gone up drastically, the changes are rather extensive.

First and foremost is the revised suspension tuning. Aprilia claims that this Tuono 457 should feel better over bad and rough roads. This, combined with the new seat padding, should make the naked bike more comfortable than before.

The new raised handlebars should mean the rider ergonomics aren’t as committed as before. The adjustable front brake lever is now standard (previously an optional accessory worth Rs 5,435).

This special edition Tuono is available in in two colour options – Mamba Black and Puma Grey. These colour schemes are an homage to the legendary 2006 Tuono 1000R. There are no other changes to the bike.

The Special Edition Aprilia Tuono 457 can be booked for Rs 10,000. With all the changes, the price has gone up by approximately around Rs 2,700, which is quite fantastic considering the changes it gets.
