Aprilia RS 457

Aprilia has extended the warranty on the RS 457 from 3 years or 36,000km to 4 years or 48,000km. The warranty is free and is also transferable.

The Aprilia RS 457 is the Italian manufacturer’s first made-in-India 450cc bike. It is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine that produces 47.6PS.

Price: The Aprilia has been priced at Rs 4,22,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra).

Design: The RS457 gets a sharp, race-inspired design with aggressive fairing lines, a compact tail section, and a sleek looking LED headlamp. Aerodynamic styling, sculpted bodywork, and premium detailing give it a modern, track-ready presence. The bike is available in 6 colour options: Coral Blue Snake, Arsenic Yellow, Replica Black, Racing Tripes, Opalescent White, and Prismatic Dark.

Features: The Aprilia RS 457 gets a 5-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity available as optional. It gets ride-by-wire technology, 3 riding modes and 3 levels of traction control that can be switched off.

Engine: The Aprilia RS 457 is powered by an all-new 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine producing 47.6PS. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with the quickshifter available as an accessory.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The suspension setup in the Aprilia RS 457 consists of a 41mm inverted fork with 120mm wheel travel and a monoshock with 130mm wheel travel. Both come with preload adjustability. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc brake with a four-piston radial caliper and 220mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS and supermoto mode, which switches off the rear ABS. The 450cc supersport gets a twin-spar aluminium frame and a steel swingarm. It comes fitted with 110/70 (front) and 150/60 (rear) TVS Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tyres and has a kerb weight of 175kg.
