Quick Read:
-
Gets minor design changes over the previous model
-
Makes slightly more power and torque, thanks to the updated Alpha 2 engine
-
Prices range from Rs 2,09,969 to Rs 2,25,969 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Yezdi has rolled out the 2025 Roadster MK2 in India, priced at Rs 2,09,969, around Rs 800 less expensive than the earlier base variant, with the top variant going up to Rs 2,25,969. All prices ex-showroom, Delhi. This year’s update brings a fresh look and a little more punch from the engine, all while keeping its retro-cruiser charm. Here’s all you need to know about it:

Classic Cruiser Vibes
-
Gets a similar silhouette as the previous model
-
Has sleeker LED indicators that double up as tailights (only in the top variant)
-
Chopped and redesigned tail section (We can’t help but think it reminds us of the H-D Iron 883, especially from the rear)
-
More forward-set rider footpegs
-
Lowered pillion footpegs
-
Comes in two types of handlebars
-
Single-sided tyre hugger with an integrated taillight
-
New seats with thicker padding - can be configured either as solo or with a removable pillion seat
-
New Faravahar graphics on the fuel tank and behind the single seat
-
Gets new wheel design (same as the Jawa 42 Bobber)
-
Available in five colour schemes: Shark Fin, Grey DT, Maroon DT, Hunter Green and Shadow Black

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster MK2 sticks to its old-school-meets-modern formula. There’s a sculpted metal fuel tank, chunky side panels, a round LED headlight and a stubbier tail section that looks the part of a factory bobber, particularly in the single seat configuration.
More Muscle And Got Your Basics Covered
-
Gets the same 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, but is E20 fuel-ready
-
Makes 29.1PS and 29.62Nm (0.1PS and 0.42Nm more than before)
-
The gearbox and underpinnings remain unchanged
-
Seat height is now 795mm (5mm more than before), but still accessible
-
Has a 150-section rear tyre (previous version had a 130-section)
-
Get the same tilt-adjustable LCD instrument console
-
The feature list remains the same

The Yezdi Roadster has always had an engine which loved to be revved, all the while being very tractable. While the new updated bike makes slightly more power and torque, we do hope the core essence of the Roadster MK 2 remains unchanged.
As for the feature list, even though the Roadster has all the basics covered, we would’ve loved a TFT instrument console. Or heck, even if the LCD console got smartphone connectivity, it would’ve been a great touch. That said, the console’s layout is quite simple, and is easier to read while riding.

The Roadster’s pricing is bang on when compared to its biggest rival, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, with the Meteor starting from Rs 2,08,270 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The Yezdi also offers a brattier performance over the Meteor’s laid-back style, courtesy of its liquid-cooled engine. That said, how the updates fare in the real world is something we will see once we swing our leg over the bike.
