On August 26, 2026, Jawa Motorcycles launched 6 new colour options for the 42 FJ, and the pricing now starts at Rs 2.02 lakh (ex-showroom). It is one of the sportiest looking bikes from the brand and the new colours suit its overall character quite well.

Price

The Jawa 42 is available in six colour options: All Stars Red, Nebula Blue, Aurora Green, Deep Matte Black, Deep Matte Black Red, and Chrome. The Aurora Green and All Stars Red shade cost Rs 2.02 lakh, the Nebula Blue, Deep Matte Black, and the Deep Matte Black Red paint scheme cost Rs 2.08 lakh, while the Chrome colour option is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

Engine:

The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by the 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 350 Alpha2 engine producing 29.2PS and 29.6Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details

The suspension on the FJ consists of a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers with 5-step preload adjustability. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS as standard. It gets a 100-section front tyre with an 18-inch wheel and 140-section rear tyre with a 17-inch wheel. The Aurora Green Matte Spoke colour option gets spoke wheels with tubed tyres while the rest of the colour options get diamond-cut alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The bike has a wheelbase of 1440mm, seat height of 790mm, kerb weight of 184kg and a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.

Features

The Jawa 42 FJ gets an LCD instrument console that shows speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, clock and other regular readouts. The bike gets all-LED lighting and a USB charging port.
