Baleno is as swift as the Swift. I've taken mine to 150s and I've never felt any issues in handling or drive. Its a very stable car. The reason for a fibre front is mainly as a pedestrian protection issue. Also, it reduces the impact onto to driver or co passengers.

There are several advantages of an automatic car over a manual transmission car. The main advantage of an automatic car is driving comfort. This driving comfort of an automatic car in a traffic jam has to be experienced for you to know what you have been missing. No more being so tired while driving through the constant traffic jams in the Cities of India, because you do not have to be pressing the clutch and changing gears all the time.Apart from the driving comfort, the other advantage of automatic cars is that the maintenance cost of an automatic gear car could be lesser than a manual car over the lifetime of the car. This is because the gears are changed automatically at the correct engine RPM and speeds and the driving is always very smooth without any jerks. This contributes to a longer life of the drive train parts of the car including longer tyre life.Driving a vehicle with a CVT is a very different experience and many drivers do not like it because you do not feel the engine accelerating; you do not feel any shifts instead you feel the engine racing as it would with a slipping clutch or a failing transmission which is just the CVT adjusting to provide optimal power.Advantages and Disadvantages of a Manual Transmission:Advantages:1. Easier to maintain: Since they are less complex than automatics, there is less of a chance for something to go wrong. The clutch is the only item that generally needs repair, but for the most part that isn't needed for hundreds of thousands of miles.2. Use of gear or engine oil: This fluid deteriorates less quickly and doesn't require frequent changes.3. Cheaper: In general, brand-new stick shift vehicles are cheaper than their automatic counterparts.Disadvantages:1. Difficulty on hills: Stopping on a hill and starting again can be inconvenient as well as scary. Since the vehicle rolls back, drivers have rolled into traffic or stalled.2. Pain from the clutch. Your left leg will be in constant use when driving a stick shift car. Over time, it can mess with the joints in the leg.
Reason to buy Dzire: - Bigger Boot: The Dzire is capable of gobbling up the family’s luggage on a weekend trip much easier than the Baleno. - Better rear seat: It has a rear armrest, rear AC vents and a more supple ride, which will keep the Dzire’s rear occupants more comfortable.Reason to buy Baleno: - Compact City Car: If you are looking for a compact daily driver that's easy to zip around town, the Swift makes a strong case for itself. - Fun to drive: The Baleno is a driver’s delight and is more fun on a set of twisties. As per the requirements, Honda Jazz could be a good option. The claimed fuel efficiency of Jazz CVT is 19.0 km/l. Jazz comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and speed-sensing door locks as standard. As for the boot space, the car comes with healthy storage of 354 liters. Read more:- 2018 Honda Jazz Review: 5 Things To Know - Next-gen Honda Jazz To Get Hybrid Power; Debut In October

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. May I know the difference in CVT technology between what both Baleno and Jazz have to offer. I have been driving maruti SX4 and A star for quite some time now. Will Jazz seat 3 comfortably in the rear and what I learnt to known the boot space is larger in Baleno. Kindly share your views. If bought this would be my first experience of a vehicle by Honda. Also, which is safer among the two. Thanks in advance
