Q. How about ignis's safety and performance? Worthy to buy?

Actually it can surprisingly take a good beating. I have been scraped by a Volkswagen and even the pain in my car was intact, I hit a divider once, I got it down and drove back home the next day the wheels were re-aligned and the dented parts were replaced thanks to bumper to bumper insurance, the third time I was trying to teach my wife driving and she bumped into a parked Sumo. a lot of damage was incurred but it didn.t look that bad on the outside however the bonnet, bumper etc had to be replaced (thanks once again for bumper to bumper insurance), most recent some guy lost control of his vehicle and bumped into my boot, now the parking sensors keep making noise once the reverse gear is engaged (God knows how much its gonna cost me now). Overall, the damage sustained looks small but gets distributed around the vehicle, some f'in design flaw or logic I don't know.

The most important if you will search accidental ignis car you will get very less faulty piece in service center.
