    The engine is very refined and delivers power in a linear fashion, the gearing is crisp and easy to change and the clutch is pretty lite compared to Mahindra and Nissan cars (they were diesel powered). Mileage on the highway with RPM @2.2 to 2.5 and Speed b/w 60 to 80 (>100) KM/hr is easily 25kmpl. The maintenance is budget friendly. Suspension on comparison with the WagonR is stiffly sprung (Take potholes and speed breakers patiently if you want to keep occupants relaxed and happy). Fun to drive car from a drivers perspective.

    Ignis will give you a good performance in city traffic and will also give you very good fuel efficiency. That 1.2 liter VVT engine of Maruti is very fuel efficient, in spite of being a petrol engine. It is also decent on highway, but overtakes need to be planned well. Personally, the only two flaws in Ignis are the rear seat space / boot space and build quality. But anyways, Maruti is not known to make cars with great build quality because they believe in giving fuel efficient cars. The only exception to this is the Scross and the Brezza.

    Very responsive engine. Auto gear shift is smooth & linear. Power to weight ratio is evenly balanced. Experience till now is wow. Awaiting full service to see the actual claimed fuel efficiency

    A Good Overpowered car with

    A good overpowered car with suzuki’s reliable k12 engine.During my honeymoon in udaipur, I opted for an ignis to drive to kumbhalgarh fort, And after returning from udaipur, The first thing i did, Was, Booking of the car.Smooth, Mile muncher, Calm these three things would best describe the car, Acceleration is good, As the same engine even powers an oversized baleno.Only drawback is the bridgestone ecopia tyres, Which can be upgraded later.
